Objective:The aim of this study is to explore the efficacy of fire needle therapy for neck and shoulder myofascial pain syndrome, and explore the clinical application value of infrared heat map for the efficacy of neck and shoulder myofascial pain syndrome.Method:66 patients with cervical shoulder myofasciitis that met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a treatment group(fire acupuncture group)and a control group(conventional acupuncture group),with 33 subjects in each group. The treatment group and the control group were performed with same acupoints. The two groups received treatment every other day,and 11 times of treatment in total were performed in 3 weeks.By observing and comparing the VAS score, the total scores of symptoms and signs and the temperature difference between the neck and shoulder pain areas(△T)before treatment,on the second day after one week of treatment, and on the second day after the end of treatment,we evaluated the treatment effect of the two methods.Result:1.Baseline comparison: There was no significant difference(P>0.05)in terms of sex, age, course of illness,VAS score, total index of symptom signs and temperature difference in the temperature difference in the neck and shoulder pain area(△T)for the two groups.2.In-group comparison: After 11 times of treatment, the differences of VAS score, the total score of symptoms and signs, and the infrared calorific value(△T)of the temperature difference between the neck and shoulder pain area of the two groups decreased were statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Inter-group comparison: After 1 week of treatment, the efficiency of the treatment group and the control group were 84.4% and 61.3% respectively, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 11 times of treatment, the total efficiency of the treatment group and the control group after treatment were 93.8% and 83.9%,respectively,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing the VAS scores, total symptom signs, and temperature difference infrared thermal values(△T)in the neck and shoulder pain area of the two groups after 1 week and 11 times of treatment, the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Correlation analysis: The r values of VAS score change and △T change after 1 week of treatment were 0.701 and 0.933,respectively.The r values of total symptom and sign score change and △T change were 0.584 and 0.747,respectively;and the VAS scores of the two groups before and after treatment,Changes in the total score of symptoms and signs were positively correlated with changes in △T(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both the fire needle therapy and conventional needle therapy have obvious therapeutic effects on the neck and shoulder myofascial pain, while fire needle therapy is better than conventional needle therapy.2.Infrared heat map can be used to evaluate the efficacy of cervical and shoulder myofascial pain syndrome, and the trend of thermal deviation is related to clinical indicators. |
