Study On The Development Strategy Of A Hospital Based On AHP-SWOT Model

With the landing of the new medical reform in China by the end of 2016,what will public hospitals be like in the future? How does the rise of private hospitals or the influx of private capitals have impacts on public hospitals? These are issues faced by each public hospital.In this context,the future of a Hospital will be subject to many factors,which will affect its overall positioning.Therefore,it will promote the long-term and steady development of the hospital to explore scientific and reliable research methods,find restricting elements of development and determine its development strategy.First of all,it clarifies the lagged development of a Hospital by consulting the literature combined with the status quo of medical development at home and abroad as well as the medical reform and draws the research route and methods of this paper.Second,it finalizes the key elements of SWOT through the status quo analysis of a Hospital,consults specialists to develop various elements of SWOT by means of Delphi,and finally determines the key elements of SWOT after several rounds of communication.Then it combines AHP with SWOT to build the AHP-SWOT model,which is used to construct and make full use of the combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis.At the same time,it conducts quantitative analysis of the inside and outside environment of a Public Hospital combined with the New Deal of national medical reform,calculates the SWOT weight of each element and establishes a strategic quadrangle in the rectangular plane coordinate system.Moreover,it calculates and gets the strategic location map of a Hospital through the barycentric coordinate P,the strategic azimuth θ and the strategic intensity coefficient ρ of the strategic quadrangle.Finally,according to the AHP-SWOT model,the strategic area of a Hospital is a regulatory and aggressive strategic area,which should adopt a strong strategy to continuously overcome its own disadvantages and make full use of external opportunities to take a proactive and open strategy.According to the above strategic classification,strategy type and intensity,it formulates the strategic planning and implementation recommendations for a Hospital in the future,ensures the full implementation of the strategic planning by improving the system,and provides scientific and reliable advice for the future planning and development of a Hospital.
