Objective:To investigate the relationship between absent end-diastolic velocity(AEDV)in umbilical artery and the lung injury and brain injury among premature infants whose mothers are complicated by severe preeclampsia(SPE).Method: This is a retrospective analysis in which we collected 189 SPE premature infants born and hospitalized in Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University from January 2012 to December 2016,devided into two groups,AEDVgroup(n=75)and control group(n=114).We calculated the incidence of lung injury and brain injury between the two groups, and used multi-factor regression analysis in order to adjust the effect of confounding factors.,such as mother's age, maternal birth, history of pregnancy, gestational week of termination placental abruption, oligohydramnios, amniotic fluid fecal turbidity.Result:1.The incidence of lung injury between AEDV group and control group was 73.3% VS 48.2%(P=0.001)while the incidence of lung injury was 17.6% VS 29.5%(P=0.084)2.By using univariate analysis combined with multi-factor regression analysis,we found all the factors including gestational week of termination(32.78+2.07 vs 31.94+2.24,P=0.495),whether AEDV accured(30% vs 45.53%,P=0.673)placental abruption(27.5% vs 17.07%,P=0.116),oligohydramnios(5% vs 5.79%,P=0.075),and amniotic fluid fecal turbidity(10% vs 18.03%,P=0.070)were not statistically significant on brain injury.3.All the factors mentioned above were not statistically significant in lung injury. Conclusion: The incidence of lung injury was higher in AEDV group, while the incidence of brain injury was not statistically significant among the two groups. But when adjusting the confounding factors, whether AEDV accured did not effect the incidence of lung injury and brain injury.
