Observation On The Effect Of Invigorating Qi And Tonifying Marrow On Ischemic Stroke Sequelae And Limb Motor Dysfunction

Objective: This paper aims to prove the curative effect of Invigorating Qi and Tonifying Marrow Method combining with conventional acupuncture for treating patients with ischemic stroke sequelae and limb motor dysfunction by observing and comparing the clinical efficacy of conventional acupuncture.Methods: Randomly dividing the 70 patients who met the criteria into treatment group and control group,35 patients in each group.The control group was acupunctured moxibustion in Shuigou,Neiguan,Chize,Weizhong,Sanyinjiao,Qihai,Xuehai and Zusanli.On the basic of the control group,the treatment group was acupunctured moxibustion in Baihui,Fengfu and Guanyuan for 30 minutes.The efficacy of treatments was evaluated by an indicator of using the simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function score(FMA)and TCM diagnosis criteria.And the differences between the two methods were compared by performing the statistical analysis.Results:(1)A total of 67 cases were completed in this trial with 2 cases were excluded from the treatment group and 1 case was excluded from the control group.Among the 70 patients,there were no significant differences in general information on gender,age,duration of disease and the total score of the simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function score(FMA)scale before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable;(2)After the treatment,the total scores of the simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function score(FMA)scales of patients were compared within the group,and there were significant differences compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the treatments of both groups were effective;(3)After the treatment,the total scores of the simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function score(FMA)scales of patients were compared between the groups and there was a significant difference(P<0.05),showing that the improvement of the overall clinical symptoms of the patients in the treatment group was better than that of the control group,which indicates that the recovery of the patients with ischemic stroke sequelae and limb motor dysfunction the obstacle in treatment group has an advantage over the control group;(4)After treatment,the total scores of the syndrome of Chinese medicine scales of patients were compared between the groups,the effective rate of the treatment group was 84.85%,and the effective rate of the control group was 52.94%.According to the effective comparison of the two groups,P<0.05,the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusions: The invigorating qi and tonifying marrow method can improve limb dyskinesia and the clinical symptoms of patients.Moreover,the acupuncture moxibustion has the advantages of no pain,wide application range,economical and easy operation.Therefore,invigorating qi and tonifying marrow method is an effective method for the treatment of limb motor dysfunction in stroke sequelae,and it deserves the further clinical research and application.
