Objective:to observe the effect of jinmai wendan decoction on blood lipid,blood glucose,early phase insulin secretion level(△I30/△G30)and intestinal flora in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with phlegm and blood stasis.Methods:60 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with phlegm and blood stasis were selected and divided into"OADs group"(n=30),"jin mai wen Dan tang+OADs group"(n=30),and"healthy control group"(n=10).The OADs group was treated with oral hypoglycemic drugs(OADs),and the jin mai wen Dan tang+OADs group was treated with jin mai wen Dan tang on the basis of OADs treatment for 12 consecutive weeks.Healthy controls were not treated.The changes of blood lipid(TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C),blood glucose(FPG,0.5hpg,2hPG,HbAIc)and△I30/△G30 before and after treatment in the jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group and OADs group were analyzed and compared with those in the healthy control group before and after treatment.Results:1.Blood lipid:before treatment,there was no statistical difference in TC,TG,LDL-C and HDL-C levels between the jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group and the OADs group;after treatment,the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in the two groups were significantly reduced.The levels of TC and LDL-C in the jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group were significantly lower than those in the OADs group,with statistical difference.However,there was no statistical difference in TG levels between the two groups.After treatment,there was no statistical difference in HDL-C level between the two groups.2.Blood glucose:before treatment,there was no statistical difference between the levels of FPG,0.5hpg,2hPG and HbAIc in the jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group and the OADs group;after treatment,the levels of FPG,0.5hpg,2hPG and HbAIc in the two groups were significantly reduced,and the levels of FPG,0.5hpg,2hPG and HbAIc in the jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group were significantly lower than those in the OADs group,with statistical differences.3.△I30/△G30:before the treatment,there was no statistical difference between the jin mai wendan decoction+OADs group and OADs group in△I30/△G30;After treatment,△I30/△G30 of jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group and OADs group were significantly higher than before treatment,with statistical difference,but no statistical difference was found between the two groups.4.Intestinal flora:before treatment,there was no statistical difference in the number of enterococcus,e.coli,lactobacillus and bifidobacterium between the three groups of jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group,OADs group and healthy control group;before treatment,the number of clostridium leptum,bacteroides,and firmicutes in the healthy control group was significantly higher than that in the jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group and OADs group,with statistical difference.Before the treatment,there was no statistical difference in the Numbers of clostridium leptum,bacteroides and firmicutes between the jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group and the OADs group.After treatment,there was no statistical difference in the number of enterococcus,escherichia coli,lactobacillus and bifidobacterium in the jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group and OADs group compared with that before treatment.After treatment,the quantity of clostridium leptum was significantly increased in the two groups,and the quantity of clostridium leptum in the two groups was significantly higher than that in the OADs group,showing a statistical difference.After treatment,the number of bacteroides in the group of jinmai wendan decoction+OADs and the group of OADs increased significantly compared with that before treatment,but there was no statistical difference between the two groups.After treatment,the amount of firmicutes in the jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group and the OADs group was significantly lower than that before treatment,and the amount of firmicutes in the jinmai wendan decoction+OADs group was significantly lower than that in the OADs group,showing a statistical difference.5.Safety:during the treatment with jinmai wendan decoction,no obvious adverse reactions or impaired liver and kidney functions were observed.Conclusion:1.Jinmai wendan decoction can reduce fasting blood glucose,postprandial blood glucose and HbAIc in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(phlegm and blood stasis).2.Jinmai wendan decoction can reduce TC and ldl-c in type 2 diabetes patients(phlegm and blood stasis).3.Jinmai wendan decoction did not significantly improve the early insulin secretion level.4.Jinmai wendan decoction increased the number of clostridium tenensis and decreased the number of firmicutes in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(phlegm and blood stasis).5.Jinmai wendan decoction has definite safety in the treatment of type 2diabetes mellitus(phlegm and blood stasis).
