Objective: To observe the effect of electrom yographi c biofeedback therap y on upper limb peripheral nerve injur y.Methods: A total of 24 pati ents with upper limb peri pheral nerve injur y were randoml y assigned to control group and treatment group. The control group was treated with drug, kinesiotherapy and las er ph ysiotherap y,and the treatment group was treated with el ectrom yographic biofeedback besides the other treatmen t.Patients were t reat ed once dail y for 4 weeks. The degree of injur y was evaluat ed b y needle electrom yograph y before and after the treatment.Treatm ent effect will be anal yz ed b y t he changes of needle elect rom yograph y.Results: 1.Aft er treatm ent,the control group had no obvious improvem ent in insertion potential,s pontaneous activit y,minimum contraction motor unit action potential(MUAP)and m aximum contraction M UAP(P>0.05),whil e these paramet ers were improved obvious l y in treatment group(P<0.05).And the spont aneous activit y,minimum contraction M UAP of the treatment group are much bett er than the control group after treatment(P<0.05).The res ults show that el ectrom yographi c biofeedback therap y combined wit h conventional therapy can improve peripheral nerve injur y more effective l y compared with conventional therapy alone.2.Aft er treatm ent,m otor nerve conduction velocit y(MCV)of 2 groups both had an i mprovement(P <0.05),and the t reatment group improved more obvious l y than the control group(P<0.05),while compound mus cle act ion potential(CMAP)amplitude of 2 groups both had no improvement(P>0.05).It suggest that t wo therapies both can improve the MCV,while electrom yographic biofeedback therap y combi ned with conventional therap y has more advantages than conventional treatment alone, but the y both have no effect in improving the CMAP am plitude. Conclusion: Electrom yographi c bi ofeedback therap y can improve peripheral nerve injur y of upper limb, which is an effective complem ent to conventional rehabili tation therapy, and it is worth popularizing in clinical rehabilitation.
