Banxia Houpu Decoction And Chaihu Shugan Powder For The Treatment Of Sputum With Depression Clinical Observation Of State(Qi Stagnation And Stagnation Syndrome)

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Banxia Houpu Decoction and modified Chaihu Shugan Powder in the treatment of globus hysteriocus with depression(Qi stagnation and stagnation syndrome).Methods:Sixty-eight patients who from Gansu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were diagnosed as globus hysteriocus with depression and TCM Qi stagnation syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The treatment group was given Banxia Houpu Decoction and modified Chai Hu Shugan Powder,the control group was given flupentixol melitraceril tablets.Observing the scores of globus symptom scale,TCM symptom score scale and Hamilton depression before and after.The SPSS23.0 was used in data analysis to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Banxia Houpu Decoction and modified Chaihu Shugan Powder.Result:1.Compare the globus symptom score:Before and after treatment,the scores of globus symptom in the two groups were compared(p<0.05),which suggested that both groups could improve the abnormal sensation of throat;After treatment,the differences of the scores of globus symptom between the two groups was compared(p<0.05)indicated that the abnormal sensation of throat in the treatment group was improved more significant than that in the control group.2.Compare the TCM symptom score:After treatment,the total scores of TCM symptom were compared in the two groups(p<0.05),which indicated that both groups were effective in improving TCM symptoms.After treatment,the differences of TCM symptoms between the two groups was compared(p<0.05),which indicated that the treatment group was better in improving the total symptoms of TCM;After treatment,the differences in individual scores between the two groups were compared within the group,which were the abnormal sensation of throat,suspicious,anxious,belching and sighing(p<0.05),depression and impatience(p>0.05).It was found that the effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group in improving the abnormal sensation of throat,suspicious,anxious,belching and sighing,the treatment group and the control group were equivalent in improving depression and impatience.3.Compare the total score of Hamilton Depression Rating Scale:The total score of depression in the two groups before and after treatment was compared(p<0.05),indicating that both the treatment group and the control group can improve the depression of the patients.The difference of total score between the two groups after treatment was compared(p>0.05).The results showed that the two groups had the same effect in improving the depression.4.Comparison of overall efficacy: The total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.18%;the total effective rate of the control group was 73.35%.The overall efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.Conclusion:Banxia Houpu Decoction and modified Chaihu Shugan Powder in the treatment of globus hysteriocus with depression(Qi stagnation and stagnation syndrome)is better in improving the abnormal sensation of throat and TCM symptoms,and it has certain effect on improving patients’ depression.
