Clinical Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Jiawei Qian Zheng Powder On Idiopathic Facial Nerve Paralysis With Wind Phlegm Resistance

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Jiawei Qian Zheng Powder in the treatment of wind phlegm obstructive idiopathic facial nerve palsy(IFP),and to provide clinical basis for the treatment of the disease with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: During the collection of October 2017-December 2018,60 patients with IFP who met the diagnostic criteria and the criteria included in this study,60 subjects were divided into the treatment group and the control group by simple random grouping,of which 30 cases were treated with Jiawei Qian Zheng Powder and basic treatment,and 30 cases in the control group were given basic treatment.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks and followed up after 1 months.To observe the improvement of House-Brackmann(H-B)facial nerve function scale and facial nerve paralysis scale in two groups of patients before treatment,4 weeks and 1 months after treatment.The treatment days of two groups of cured patients during treatment were recorded,and the clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups were evaluated respectively.Results: A total of 59 cases were completed in this study,and 1 cases were shedding in the treatment group.(1)Before treatment: the two groups of patients sex,age,age group,disease side,course of disease,and H-B scale classification,facial nerve paralysis degree score comparison,the difference is not statistically significant(P>0.05),comparable.(2)Treatment of 4 weeks: The two groups in the H-B scale classification,facial nerve paralysis score scores have improved,and the treatment group is better than the control group(P<0.05);The yield of the treatment group was 82.75%,the total effective rate was 96.55%,the yield of the control group was 66.67%,the total effective rate was 83.33%,and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was significantly different(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the number of days of treatment between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05).(3)1 months follow-up: The clinical efficacy of the treatment group and the grading of the H-B scale,the degree of facial nerve paralysis score improved better than the control group(P<0.05).(4)Safety evaluation: There was no significant abnormal change in the observation indexes before and after treatment in the two groups,and there was no obvious adverse reaction during the medication,suggesting that the safety of Jiawei Qian Zheng Powder was good.Conclusion: Combined basic treatment of Jiawei Qian Zheng Powder is a safe and effective traditional Chinese medicine prescription for the treatment of IFP,and it is worth the application of clinicians to improve the facial nerve function,clinical symptoms and signs of IFP patients,effectively shorten the treatment cycle,and do not show obvious toxic side effects and adverse reactions during treatment.
