An Analysis Of The Embedded Dilemma In The Development Of Medical Social Work

As an imported product,medical social work has obvious embedding characteristics in the localization development of China.It is manifested in the fact that some practical fields of medical social work have been executed by other internal departments of medical institutions for a long time,which means that the development of medical social work will inevitably encounter many obstacles.Taking the professional practice of medical social work interns in Social Work Department of W City Y Heart Disease Hospital as an example,this paper aims to analyze the main difficulties in the development of medical social work in this hospital at the present stage by using the embedded theory,and put forward valuable countermeasures and suggestions.Taking the present situation of medical social work service in the congenital ward of W City Y Heart Disease Hospital as an example,this paper further analyzed the development of medical social work in China under the guidance of embedded theory,and summarized its embedding dilemma from four aspects: first,embedding the subject and object level,embedding the subject’s professional ability is difficult to support professional service,and lacks the motive of self-improvement;Embedded object passively absorbs medical social work and its orientation is ambiguous.Secondly,at the level of embedded space,the embedded transfer space has been transferred by functions,and it is difficult to develop the professional value of expanding space.Thirdly,at the level of embedding environment,the low acceptance of embedding objects by environmental groups and the particularity of service objects lead to the difficulty of practical embedding.Fourthly,at the level of embedding effect,the effect on self-development is limited,and the effect on society is difficult to quantify.It is not difficult to see that embedding subject and object is the premise of embedding.The complex interaction between them has resulted in embedding elements at other levels.This paper puts forward two countermeasures and suggestions on embedding the subject and object levels:strengthening the theoretical education of medical social work and enhancing the practical ability of medical social work;establishing the management system of medical social work and adding the professional level certification of medical social work.
