Visual Field Defect Pattern Of Acute Angle-closure Glaucoma And Its Difference From Primary Open Angle Glaucoma

Objective:To study the spatial distribution of visual field defects in patients with acute angle-closure glaucoma,and to provide evidence for visual field defect patterns after acute angle-closure glaucoma.Methods:Total of 106 patients with APACG.Each patient underwent visual field examination,using Humphrey perimeter threshold detection 24-2 program test,SITA-fast statistical analysis strategy.According to the Mean Deviation(MD)value,it is divided into three groups:mild(MD≥-10dB),moderate(-20dB≤MD<-10dB)and severe(MD<-20dB).according to the glaucoma hemifield test(GHT),the total deviation numerical map and the pattern deviation probability plots of visual field were used to define five areas in each superior hemifield and the inferior hemifield across the horizontal meridian.MDs of each area in the superior and inferior hemifield were obtained by summing and averaging the total deviation values,calculatet and compare the MD values of the superior and inferior areas.According to the Collaborative Initial Glaucoma Treatment Study(CIGTS),calculatet and compare the pattern deviation values(PD)of the superior and inferior areas.The superior and inferior hemifield of APACG group in different stages were compared.According to GSS2 grading method,different stages of visual field defect models were calculated.Results:1、With the duration of the attack increases,the mean deviation value becomes more severe.2、Through the analysis of relevant risk factors,there was no significant correlation between age,gender,seizure eye,traffic distance,patient source with MD value.3、As far as the distribution is concerned,the defect below the visual field of different severity is heavier than the superior part especially in the moderate stage.4、In the two-to-two comparison in APACG group,the defect in the inferior C region is the lightest in the moderate and severe stages.5、In GSS2 classification,APACG group tends to have diffuse defects in different stage,The mild visual field is mostly level 2,the moderate fields are mostly level 4,and the severe fields are mostly level 5.Conclusion:1、With the duration of the attack increases,the visual field defect becomes more severe.2、As far as APACG is concerned,different degrees of damage are characterized by diffuse lesions,and the degree of defects is heavier.3、As far as the distribution is concerned,the defect below the visual field of different severity is heavier than the superior part,especially in the moderate stage.4、the most serious degree of vision in the central area is the latest affected...
