Objective:To investigate the expression of microRNA-92a(miR-92a)in serum and tissue of ovarian epithelial carcinoma(EOC)patients and healthy controls,and to assess the association between miR92a and clinic-pathological characteristics of EOC,and to explore the value of miR-92a in the diagnosis of EOC.Methods:The expression of miR-92a in serum and tissue of 60 EOC women patients and 60benign epithelial ovarian tumor was detected by quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCT),and to evaluate the corre-lation between miR-92a expression and clinic-pathological characteristics.The sensitivity and specificity of diagnosis for EOC were evaluated by using rece-iver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and area under the ROC curve(AUC).Kaplan-Meier analysis with correlation test with EOC survival survival analysis and Log-rank.Using the SPSS18.0 software to deal with the data obtained,using chi-square test and Anova analysis and statistical methods,such as the data for statistical analysis.Results:1.The expression level of miR-92a in serum of EOC patients was significantly higher than that in controls(5.263±0.536vs4.876±0.452,P<0.001).The expression level of miR-92a in tissue of EOC patients was significantly higher than that in controls(5.978±0.596vs5.652±0.617,P<0.001).2.Serum and tissue miR-92a expression was significantly associated with lymph node metastasis、clinical stage and differentiation(P<0.05),but not with age differentiation(P>0.05).The higher the expression of the later stage,lymph node metastasis than those without lymph node metastasis,the expression of the higher degree of differentiation,the higher the amount,the higher the expression level of the worse the prognosis.3.For detecting EOC,the area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve of serum miR-92a was 0.792,with a sensitivity of 62.0%and a specificity of 73.0%;the area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve of tissue miR-92a was0.815,with a sensitivity of 65.0%and a specificity of 76.0%.4.Serum miR-92a expression group EOC shorter survival of patients with low expression in miR-92a group EOC patients,the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=5.020,P=0.023);tissue miR-92a expression group EOC shorter survival of patients with low expression in miR-92a group EOC patients,the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=6.138,P=0.032)Conclusion:1.Serum and tissue expression of miR-92 in the EOC were significantly higher than the control group,the increased expression of the degree of FIGO stage EOC,lymph node metastasis,differentiation and prognosis,and the higher the expression of the later stages,there lymph node metastasis was higher than those without metastasis,the higher the amount,the higher the degree of differentiation expression,MiR-92a migh have participated the origination and progression of EOC as a tumor-factor,it may represent potential indicator in the auxiliary diagnosis and prognosis of EOC.2.MiR-92a may act as oncogenes involved in the process of EOC,for further study the pathogenesis of EOC,and seek early diagnosis and early treatment provides a theoretical basis and experimental basis,it is expected to become EOC the new target for early diagnosis of cancer gene therapy and new indicators.
