Objective:To observe the effects of motor imagination therapy from the perspective of embodied cognition on hemiplegic patients with upper limb motor dysfunction in motor function and neuromuscular activity and explore the possible mechanism of this treatment method.Method:Thirty patients with cerebral infarction with a course of a month to mouth and Brunnstrom stages of stage Ⅲ to Ⅳ were randomly divided into treatment group(n=15)and control group(n=15).The control group was only given routine rehabilitation treatment, and the treatment group was treated with embodied motor imagination therapy on the basis of the control group, the course of treatment was 4 weeks,5 times a week,30 minutes each time, once a day.The motor cortex evoked potential(MEP)of the upper limb was detected before and after treatment in the two groups, which was used to detect the cortical latency of MEP and the central motor conduction time(CMCT)of MEP.The(sEMG)root mean square value(RMS)and integral EMG value(iEMG)of the surface EMG of biceps brachii and wrist flexor muscle in the two groups were collected.Meanwhile, the motor function scores of upper limbs, hands and wrists were evaluated by Fugl-Meyer(FMA)Result:1.There was no significant difference among the physiology index in two groups before training(P>0.05)2.After treatment, the motor conduction time, cortical latency and CMCT of MEP in the control group were shortened(P<0.05).Neuromuscular activity increased,RMS value and IMMG value increased(P<0.05).The motor function was significantly improved and the upper limb movement score of FMA was increased(P<0.05)3.After treatment, the motor conduction time of upper limb in the treatment group was significantly shortened, and the cortical latency and CMCT of MEP in the treatment group were better than those in the control group in the same period(P<0.05).The neuromuscular activity,RMS value and IMMG value in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group in the same period(P<0.05).In terms of motor function, the FMA score was significantly higher than that in the control group in the same period(P<0.05).Conclusion:Motor imagination therapy from the perspective of embodied cognition can better improve the motor function and motor ability of upper limbs in hemiplegic patients with cerebral infarction,as well as neuro muscular activity and motor conduction time of the affected limbs.
