Objective:to understand the dietary intake and the distribution of body composition of middle-aged and old people in Urumqi, and analyze the influence of dietary pattern, nutrient intake and body composition distribution on fasting blood glucose. Methods:a cross-sectional survey was conducted among residents over 45 years old who came to a hospital in Urumqi for physical examination. The survey included questionnaire survey, body composition test and laboratory test. The main component analysis method was used to establish the diet model. The matrix operation function of R software was used to program and calculate the nutrients. The logistic regression model was used to analyze the correlation between the diet model, nutrients intake and body composition distribution and fasting blood glucose.Results:?1?According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,843people were investigated,357 cases of abnormal fasting blood glucose.Gender, number of chronic diseases, dyslipidemia, abnormal blood pressure, overweight and obesity were all the influencing factors of blood glucose abnormality in the baseline data analysis?P<0.05?;?2?The daily intake of male fruits and female vegetables and fruits in the normal group were significantly higher than those in the abnormal group?P<0.05?,With the decrease of vegetable and fruit intake, the blood glucose value tends to be abnormal. There were six dietary patterns in men and five in women.Among them, the dietary pattern of fruits vegetables and coarse cereals may be the protective factor of abnormal blood glucose?P<0.05,OR<1?.?3?There was no significant difference in the daily intake of various nutrients between different blood glucose levels in men?P>0.05?,The blood glucose in the daily intakes of protein, dietary fiber, vitamin B1,vitamin B2,vitamin B6,vitamin C and folic acid was higher than that in the normal intakes?P<0.05?,and the blood glucose in the daily intakes of calcium, zinc, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and iron was higher than that in the abnormal intakes?P<0.05?,Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that vitamin B2 and manganese were positively correlated with blood glucose?P<0.05,OR>1?,dietary fiber and iron were negatively correlated with blood glucose?P<0.05,OR<1?;Vitamin B1,magnesium and selenium were negatively correlated with blood glucose, while phosphorus and zinc were positively correlated with blood glucose.?4?In the single factor analysis of body composition, the less the proportion of protein, mineral and skeletal muscle in the body, the higher the blood glucose value and the statistical difference?P<0.05?.In addition, the body fat amount, body fat rate,BMI,waist hip ratio and waist circumference of the abnormal blood glucose group were higher than those of the normal blood glucose group and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?;Multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that mineral, skeletal muscle and blood glucose were negatively correlated?OR<1?,while body fat, body fat rate,BMI and blood glucose were positively correlated?OR>1?.Conclusion:The dietary pattern of"fruits vegetables and coarse cereals"was the protective factor of the abnormal fasting blood glucose;dietary fiber, vitamin B1,iron,magnesium,selenium were negatively correlated with the blood glucose level;body fat content, body fat rate,BMI were positively correlated with the blood glucose level. The occurrence and development of the abnormal fasting blood glucose are related to the unreasonable dietary nutrition and the abnormal distribution of body composition of the middle-aged and old people. The balanced diet, reasonable nutrition and control of body fat are helpful to the prevention and treatment of diabetes.
