The Effect Of Remote Ischemic Post-conditioning On The Neurological Recovery Of Acute Massive Cerebral Infarction

Objective : To observe the effect of remote ischemic post-conditioning(RIPostC)treatment on improving the prognosis of neurological function in patients with acute massive cerebral infarction.Methods : 60 patients with acute massive cerebral infarction admitted to the Xinjiang Autonomous Region People’s Hospital from December 2018 to October 2019 were selected as subjects.The patients were divided into RIPostC group and control group according to the random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given routine treatment.In the RIPostC group,RIPostC was performed on the basis of conventional therapy for 7 days.NIHSS score,mRS score,BI score before treatment and at discharge time;hospital stay,mortality and recurrence rate within 90 days after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results : The60 patients enrolled,the average age was 63.7±13.5 in the RIPostC group and 68.7±11.5in the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups in general clinical data,TOAST typing,OSCP typing,NIHSS score,mRS score,BI score at admission(P>0.05).At discharge,NIHSS score of the RIPostC group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The difference in NIHSS score before treatment and at discharge time was significantly greater in the RIPostC group compare with the control group(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in mRS score and BI score between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in the decrease of mRS score and the increase of BI score(P>0.05).After 90 days,mRS score in the RIPostC group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and BI score in the RIPostC group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The difference between the decrease of mRS score and the increase of BI score in the two groups was significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in hospital stay,mortality and recurrence rate between the two groups after 90 days.Conclusion : RIPostC can improve the neurological function,improve the quality of life,improve the prognosis of patients with acute massive cerebral infarction.
