Clinical Observation Of Danggui Shaoyao San Combined With Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease(Liver Depression And Spleen Deficiency Type)

Objectives The subjects of this study were in order to find a new treatment to cure patients with Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease of liver-stagnation and spleen-deficiency.To observe the comparison of the efficacy in curing diseases of using Danggui Shaoyao San combined with acupuncture therapy and using Polyene Phosphatidylcholine Capsules alone,to talk about the basis of the prescription of Danggui Shaoyao San and the basis of acupuncture point selection,to provide basis and method for TCM treatment of this disease.Methods 64 patients with Non-alcoholic Fetty Liver Disease of liverstagnation spleen-deficiency type who were selected from The Central Hospital of Wuhan between March 2018 and October 2019.Participants were randomly assigned to two different groups,the control group and the treatment group,with 32 patients in each group.The control group was treated with Polyene Phosphatidylcholine Capsules,456 mg at a time,3 times a day,per os,for a total of 12 weeks.The treatment group was treated with Danggui Shaoyao San combined with acupuncture therapy.All the Traditional Chinese Medicines decoction pieces and their drug decoction were provided by Hubei Tianji Traditional Chinese Medicine Yinpian Company.Patients took one dose of Chinese Medicine decoction a day,two times a day.The Chinese Medicine decoction were to be taken warm.In the meantime,they received acupuncture therapy.Fenglong,Taichong,Ganshu,Pishu,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao,Neiguanand Yinlingquan were taken for acupuncture treatment.The acupuncture points were routinely disinfected.30mm×40mm filiform needles were selected to apply for routine acupuncture.The depth of acupuncture was decided by patients’ needling sensation.When the patients felt deqi,you should stop stabbing,and then kept the depth of acupuncture about 30 minutes.This group was also treated for 12 weeks.The indexes of Chinese Medicine single symptom score,Chinese Medicine total symptom score,Total Cholesterol,Triglyceride,Alanine Aminotransferase,Aspartate Aminotransferase and liver ultrasound were evaluated before and after treatment.Results 1.The total symptom scores of patients in the treatment group were significantly improved before and after treatment.The total TCM symptom scores of patients in the treatment group were compared with those in the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.According to the diagnostic criteria,the effective rate of improving symptoms in the treatment group was 90.63% higher than that in the control group of 56.25%,and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).2.After treatment for 12 weeks,the main symptom scores of the treatment group in the treatment of hypochondrium distending pain,depression,taedium vitae or lacking in strength,abdominal pain and diarrhea were lower than those before the treatment.The secondary symptoms points of treatment group in the treatment of abdominal distension discomfort,loss of appetite,nausea,vomiting and belching were down,compared with before the treatment,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.The control group’s integrals in main symptoms of hypochondrium distending pain,depression,taedium vitae or lacking in strength,abdominal pain and diarrhea were comparison with after the treatment,P>0.05,the difference was statistically significant.The control group showed no significant improvement in major symptoms.In the treatment group,the improvement of symptoms such as hypochondrium distending pain,depression,taedium vitae or lacking in strength,abdominal pain and diarrhea was more effective than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.3.The indicators of Total Cholesterol,Triglyceride,Aspartate Transaminase and Alanine Transaminase in serological examination were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.After treatment,the data of the two groups were compared between groups,and the treatment group was significantly improved compared with the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.The statistical results of Total Cholesterol,Triglyceride,Aspartate Transaminase and Alanine Transaminase in the two groups before and after treatment were evaluated according to the evaluation criteria of serological indicators.The effective rate of the treatment group was 93.75%.The effective rate of control group was 78.13%.4.According to the liver ultrasound results,after 12 weeks of treatment,the effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 84.38% and 53.13%,respectively.5.In the course of this clinical study,safety indicators were evaluated throughout the whole process.None of the 64 patients had any allergies or adverse reactions before and after treatment.No significant changes were observed in the three major routine examinations,the five renal functions and the 12-lead electrocardiogram.Conclusions Using Danggui Shaoyao San combined with acupuncture therapy has a good effect on treating Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease of liver-stagnation and spleen-deficiency.This treatment can significantly improve the patients’ main symptoms,such as hypochondrium distending pain,depression,taedium vitae or lacking in strength,abdominal pain and diarrhea.This treatment can also improve the patients’ secondary symptoms,such as abdominal distension discomfort,loss of appetite,nausea,vomiting and belching.It can reduce the serological indicators of Total Cholesterol,Triglyceride,Aspartate Transaminase,Alanine Transaminase and so on,it was able to improve patients’ ultrasound of the liver.This clinical study has a good safety and therapeutic effect.
