With the development of traditional Chinese medicine trade,the commodity specifications and grades of Chinese herbal medicine and decoction pieces have been produced.Since ancient times,there has been a quality concept of "look at the goods and grade them,and price them by grades".As early as the Western Han Dynasty,there were more than 80 varieties of commodity specifications in fanzijiran.However,with the change of producing area and market,it is difficult to adapt to the current market.And Chinese herbal pieces is one of the important pillars of the Chinese medicine industry,is the main raw materials such as Chinese medicine preparation,Chinese patent medicine,its advantages and disadvantages have a direct impact on the clinical efficacy.In many national standards,the contents related to grade division seldom reflect the characteristics of decoction pieces.Many evaluation items are described by the same medicinal materials",and the grade evaluation of decoction pieces is basically blank.Nowadays,the unhealthy phenomena such as disordered specifications,inferior quality and low price have a bad impact on the healthy development of the beverage industry.Therefore,it is of great significance for the healthy development of traditional Chinese medicine industry to excavate,research and develop a scientific,reasonable and easy-to-use grade evaluation method suitable for Chinese herbal pieces.The establishment of a scientific and reasonable method needs a lot of preparatory work.This paper combs out three main methods of quality evaluation and grading of Chinese herbal pieces by referring to relevant ancient books,documents and national standards:one is subjective empirical evaluation method,that is,grading Chinese herbal pieces by their size,texture and other characteristics;the second is a modern evaluation method for the content detection of index components;the third is a combination of the above two Synthesis theory.The characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of the three methods are summarized,compared and analyzed.On the basis of literature survey,the author went to three large-scale herbal medicine markets located in the middle,South and north of China to investigate the current situation and market demand of the classification of Chinese herbal pieces,and further tap the market demand of the classification of Chinese herbal pieces.Market research results show that in view of the good and bad quality of pieces in the market,the market urgently needs a scientific,objective,and conducive to promotion and inheritance of traditional methods and index components of Chinese herbal pieces as a technical support,so that the classification can achieve the ideal state of ensuring clinical efficacy,achieving high quality and good price,and ensuring the right of the public to drink choice.In addition,this paper also puts forward some suggestions on the existing problems of the industry found in the investigation process.The quality connotation of Chinese herbal pieces is a comprehensive reflection of its internal and external quality.Combined with literature and market research results,we can see that there are many internal and external factors affecting the quality of Chinese herbal pieces.It is the first work to choose the right parameters among many indexes.In order to reflect the differences between pieces,the indexes selected in the grade evaluation method should be in the standard of qualified pieces,and the common indexes of qualified pieces should be avoided as far as possible,so as to grade Moreover,there may be some correlations among some indexes,which will affect the evaluation results due to repeated evaluation,and the inclusion of all evaluation indexes will increase the complexity of evaluation,so it is difficult to achieve the characteristics of "strong feasibility".Therefore,it is very important for the establishment of this method to analyze the causality among these parameters and select the necessary evaluation indexes.On the basis of previous work,this paper establishes a method of quality constant grade division.That is to say,based on the characteristics of Chinese herbal pieces,ancient books,documents,national standards and market circulation,the traditional character evaluation standards and internal index quality control evaluation indexes are organically integrated,and necessary and reasonable grade evaluation indexes are selected.According to different forms and cutting conditions of Chinese herbal pieces,top blade(such as zedoary turmeric),Shun blade(such as Gastrodia elata),strip piece(such as Albizzia)Through three-dimensional mathematical modeling,different calculation methods such as mass constant,relative mass constant and percentage mass constant are formed,and the percentage mass constant is sorted from large to small,According to the habit of market classification,the grades of Chinese herbal pieces are divided into three grades,among which the percentage mass constant of the first-class product is 80,the percentage mass constant of the second-class product is<80 and>50,and the percentage mass constant of the third-class product is<50.Finally,the quality characteristics of prepared slices were transformed into specific values for characterization and comparisonBy using the established method,40 kinds of Chinese herbal pieces with different shapes and some processed products were classified,and the effective results were obtained.In this paper,we further analyze the grading results of various pieces of decoction;make clear the selection rules of indexes and formulas of the same kind of pieces of decoction;investigate and verify the relationship between the quality constant grading evaluation method and the traditional morphological grading evaluation method,and sort out and optimize the whole set of grading evaluation methods.Taking Gardenia jasminoides Ellis as an example,through the inhibitory effect of different grades of Gardenia decoction pieces on LPS induced no production of RAW264.7 cells,the relationship between the grades of decoction pieces and the efficacy was established,so as to verify the scientificity of the grading method of decoction pieces.It is not enough to investigate the relationship between the grade of single decoction pieces and the efficacy.Whether the grade difference divided by this method can be further transformed into the main clinical form of drug use?The strength of the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine compound prescription?Is the problem that this method needs to be further clarified.In this paper,taking dachengxiong formula as an example,different grades of chuanxiong and Gastrodia elata are made up into different "grades"of dachengxiong formula.The main pharmacodynamic index is the diastolic rate of blood vessels in vitro.It is discussed whether the evaluation method of quality constant grade of Chinese herbal pieces has certain relevance and prompt to the pharmacodynamic effect of dachengxiong formula,which is the Chinese herbal compound composed of them So as to provide a strong scientific basis for the quality and efficiency in the work of slice classification.The results showed that the efficacy of the three grades of decoction pieces and the compound prescription decreased with the decrease of the grade,and the strength of the efficacy was positively related to the grade of the constituent pieces.The quantitative constant grade evaluation method realizes the organic combination of traditional subjective experience and modern quality control index,the establishment of clear and simple formula,the realization of rich data not limited by human,time and space,the realization of the whole process quantification of grade evaluation,which is more conducive to analysis,comparison and inheritance.Although the method has the above advantages,but due to the limited time,the above research aims to build a framework for the method,there are still shortcomings,such as the selection of evaluation indicators,the collection of samples and other aspects still need to be further supplemented and improved.The establishment of this grade evaluation method is based on solving the existing problems in the grade evaluation of Chinese herbal pieces.It provides new ideas and new thinking for promoting the process of grade evaluation of Chinese herbal pieces,guiding the standardized operation of the market,realizing high quality and good price,promoting the healthy development of Chinese herbal pieces industry,safeguarding the public health rights and interests,and building the standardization system of Chinese herbal medicine.
