Treatment Of Antibiotic-associated Diarrhea With Junhuang Intestine-protective Mixture For Spleen-deficiency And Dampness-rich Type: A Clinical Observation

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Junhuang intestine-protective mixture on gastrointestinal dysfunction(spleen stomach weakness type)in critically ill patients.Methods:Sixty critical patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction who met the requirements of the trial were divided into two groups according to the actual order of coming to see a doctor,according to the basic principles of random,single blind and control,namely the treatment group and the control group.Thirty samples in each group.The control group was treated with western medicine,In the treatment group,on the basis of the conventional western medicine symptomatic treatment,the mixture of Junhuang intestine-protective was added.The treatment course is seven days.The changes of gastrointestinal dysfunction score,AGI grade,intra-abdominal pressure,peritoneum,tinnitus,oxygenation index,inflammatory index,APACHE II score,mortality and length of stay were observed before and after treatment,Statistics and analysis of the data,Comparison of the improvement effect of gastrointestinal dysfunction between two groups of severe patients.Results:1.There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in gender,age,intra-abdominal pressure,abdominal circumference,bowel sounds,oxygenation index,gastrointestinal dysfunction score,AGI grade,APACHE II score and length of stay(P > 0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.2.Junhuang intestine-protective mixture can obviously improve the oxygenation of severe patients,the level of oxygenation index in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05).3.Junhuang intestine-protective mixture can improve the severity of severe patients.Compared with the control group,the APACHE II score and inflammation index decreased more significantly in the treatment group(P < 0.05),with statistical difference between the two groups.4.The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was 87% and70% respectively.The changes of the total integral of the two groups before and after treatment were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The improvement of the treatment group was more significant than that of the control group(P < 0.01);Among the single symptoms,the gastrointestinal related symptoms(abdominal distention,epigastric pain,nausea and vomiting,defecation,appetite)in the treatment group were statistically significant compared with the control group(P < 0.05),but the improvement effect of the treatment group was more significant than that of the control group;There was no significant difference in thirst and urination between the two groups(P > 0.05).5.There was no significant difference in mortality and hospital stay between the treatment group and the control group(P > 0.05).6.The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was 87% and70%,respectively.The change of the total integral of the two groups before and after the treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.05),but the treatment group was more effective than the control group(P<0.05).Among the single symptoms,gastrointestinal related symptoms(abdominal distention,epigastric pain,nausea and vomiting,defecation,appetite)in the treatment group were statistically significant compared with the control group(P < 0.05),but the improvement effect of the treatment group was more significant than that of the control group(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in thirst and urination between the two groups(P > 0.05).7.In the whole treatment process,there was no obvious adverse reaction in thetreatment group and the control group.Conclusions:1.The clinical effect of the Junhuang intestine-protective mixture on gastrointestinal dysfunction(spleen stomach weakness type)in critical patients is definitely unchanged,and the comparison shows that the improvement effect of the treatment group is significantly better than that of the control group.2.Junhuang intestine-protective mixture can effectively improve gastrointestinal dysfunction(spleen stomach weakness type)of critical patients,promote gastrointestinal peristalsis,reduce abdominal pressure,accelerate the recovery of bowel sounds and peritoneum,alleviate gastrointestinal symptoms,and effectively repair gastrointestinal function.3.Junhuang intestine-protective mixture can effectively improve the oxygenation of patients,inhibit the inflammatory reaction,improve the critical degree of patients’ condition to a certain extent,and its safety is reliable.In the future,it can be further promoted and used in clinical practice.
