| Objective to explore the clinical effect of Baofei Dingchuan Decoction on the patients with lung and kidney qi deficiency in the stable stage of silicosis by observing the clinical symptoms,lung function,exercise endurance,TGF-β1 and other aspects,so as to provide the theory and clinical basis for the treatment of this kind of patients by traditional Chinese medicine.Methods From January 2018 to October 2018,72 patients with lung and kidney qi deficiency syndrome in stable stage of silicosis were selected as subjects,and 72 patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,36 in each group.In the control group,Salmeterol ticasone powder inhaler was inhaled once a day,morning and evening.The treatment group was treated with Baofei Dingchuan Decoction on the basis of the control group,which was decocted with water,1 dose per day,twice a day.The treatment course of both groups was 12 weeks.The effects of the two groups on clinical symptoms,lung function,exercise endurance,and TGF-β1 were observed before and after treatment.At the end of the two groups,the data were analyzed statistically to provide the clinical basis for the treatment of silicosis patients with lung and kidney qi deficiency.Results 1.72 cases were included,including 36 cases in the control group and 36 cases in the treatment group.In the course of treatment,there were 4 cases in the control group dropped off(1 case was stopped by himself due to going out to work;1 case was interrupted due to acute aggravation of cold in Hospital;2 cases were lost in visit),and 3 cases in the treatment group dropped off(1 case was stopped by himself due to going out to work;1 case was withdrawn due to being unable to adhere to medication,and 1 case was lost in visit).The final control group 32 cases,treatment group 33 cases.2.Comparison of clinical syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine:the total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group after treatment were 81.82%and 50.00%respectively,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total score of TCM symptoms before and after treatment in the two groups:after 12 weeks of treatment,the two groups can improve the symptoms of patients,and the treatment group is better than the control group,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).TCM single symptom score comparison:after 12 weeks of treatment,the two groups can improve the symptoms of patients(expectoration,cough,wheezing,shortness of breath,easy to catch cold,waist and knees are sore and soft),the treatment group is better than the control group,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).Pulmonary function comparison between the two groups:after 12 weeks of treatment,FEV1(L)and fevl/FVC(%)of the patients in the treatment group and the control group were improved,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);after 12 weeks of treatment,DLCO sb(%)of the patients in the two groups were not significantly improved,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Comparison of the two groups:after 12 weeks of treatment,the two groups’ MRC scores were improved,and the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison of 6-minute walking test(6MWT)between the two groups:after 12 weeks of treatment,the 6-minute walking test(6MWT)of patients in both groups can be improved,and the difference between the two groups is statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison of TGF-β1 between the two groups:after 12 weeks of treatment,there was no significant improvement in TGF-β1 between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Baofei Dingchuan decoction can improve the clinical symptoms,lung function and exercise endurance of the patients with lung and kidney qi deficiency syndrome in the stable stage of silicosis,and can improve the quality of life of the patients,with good safety,which is worthy of clinical promotion. |
