Objective:To analyze the application of Padua Prediction Score and Improve Bleeding Score in venous thromboembolism(VTE)and hemorrhage risk factors analysis of elderly patients with choledocholithiasis during the implementation of Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography(ERCP).Methods:Clinical data of 171 elderly patients with choledocholithiasis treated by ERCP were retrospectively analyzed.Through investigating the VTE,hemorrhage risk factors and occurrences of these situation, evaluate the application value of Padua Prediction Score and Improve Bleeding Score for VTE and hemorrhage stratification. Results:All 171 patients completed the operation,18 of them had complications after the operation which including Postoperative pancreatitis(9 cases),Biliary Infection(4 cases),Hemorrhage(3 cases),and VTE events(2 cases). In addition, complications occurred in elderly patients in different age stratification groups, the incidence was not significantly different(P>0.05).Evaluation models shows that 32.75%(56/171)were at high risk for VTE,and 15.20%(26/171)were at high risk for hemorrhage.Furthermore,2 VTE samples wereall occurred in the high-risk group;as the 3 samples of hemorrhage,2 samples were occurred in the low-risk group and 1 sample were occurred in the high-risk group.According to the research result, there was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the high-risk group and the low-risk group(P>0.05).Logistic regression analysis results show that the two assessment models are not factors influencing VTE/hemorrhage.Conclusion:For elderly patients with choledocholithiasis treated by ERCP,Padua Prediction Score and Improve Bleeding Score have limited ability for risk assessment.More attention needs to be paid to the two VTE risk factors of malignant tumors, previous VTE history, and bleeding risk of antithrombotic history.Further individualized risk assessment models need to be completed and improved.
