Objective:To investigate the predictive effects of Khorana score,Padua score and COMPASS-CAT score on the risk of venous thromboembolism(VTE)in lung cancer patients. Methods:The medical records of 361 inpatients diagnosed with lung cancer in Fenyang Hospital of Shanxi Province from January 2019 to May 2021 were collected: 43 patients in the VTE group and 318 patients in the non-VTE group,Multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of VTE,and COMPASS-CAT score,Khorana score and Padua score were used to score lung cancer patients. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves of the three models were plotted.Med Calc software was used to analyze and compare the predictive value of the three evaluation models for the occurrence of VTE risk in lung cancer patients. Results:Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that heart failure,COMPASS-CAT score ≥7 and D-dimer were independent risk factors for VTE in lung cancer patients(OR >1,P<0.05).The area under ROC of COMPASS-CAT score,Khorana score and Padua score models were 0.731,0.519 and 0.544 respectively.By comparison, the area under ROC of the COMPASS-CAT score model was larger than that of the Khorana score model(Z=4.949,P<0.001),and the area under ROC of the COMPASS-CAT scoring model was larger than that of the Padua score model(Z=4.707,P<0.001).Conclusion:Heart failure,COMPASS-CAT score ≥7 points and D-dimer were independent risk factors for VTE in lung cancer patients.Khorana score model and Padua score model have low predictive value for the occurrence of VTE in lung cancer patients.COMPASS-CAT score model is more effective than Khorana and Padua score models in predicting the risk of VTE in lung cancer patients, and is more suitable for assessing the risk of VTE in lung cancer patients.
