Objective: A community based on this study changchun 65 and older overweight, obesity and central obesity in the elderly and the distribution of blood pressure, blood sugar, blood fat description analysis, explore the three evaluation index of obesity, including body mass index(BMI),waist circumference(WC),waist height ratio(WHtR)and the relationship between the blood pressure, blood sugar, blood fat, thought that better reflect the overweight, obesity and central obesity with hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, sickIn this way,the obesity status of the elderly can be improved consciously,so as to provide a basis for controlling the occurrence and development of chronic noncommunicable diseases in the elderly and taking timely and effective preventive measures in the future. Methods: 823 old people aged 65 and above in a community of changchun were selected as research objects, and questionnaire survey and physical examination were conducted on them. The contents of questionnaire and physical measurement include:general condition survey(gender, age, education level, exercise status,TCM constitution type),physical measurement(height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, blood sugar, blood lipid)and chronic diseases. All the collected data were statistically analyzed.Normality test was performed on the data, and t/F test or chi square test was used to compare the obesity index of different demographic characteristics.T /F test or chi-square test was used to compare blood pressure, blood glucose and blood lipid among different demographic characteristics.Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation between different obesity indexes and blood pressure, blood glucose and blood lipid in the elderly.Logistic regression model was used to analyze the correlation between obesity index and hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia in the elderly. Results: 1.The results of t test and analysis of variance showed that there were statistical differences between BMI,WC and WHtR of the investigated elderly of different genders(P<0.05).The mean values of BMI and WC in males were higher than those in females, and the WHtR and BMI were close to each other. There were statistically significant differenceamong BMI,WC and WHtR among the investigated elderly at different ages(P<0.05),and the mean values of BMI,WC and WHtR increased with age. There were statistical differences in BMI,WC and WHtR among the elderly under different exercise conditions(P<0.05).The mean values of BMI and WC in the non-exercise group were higher than those in the exercise group, and the WHtR and BMI were close. There were statistically significant differences in BMI,WC and WHtR among the investigated elderly with different body types(P<0.05).The mean values of BMI,WC and WHtR in the biased group were higher than those in the mild group. There were statistical differences in the distribution of blood pressure, blood glucose and blood lipid among the investigated elderly of different genders(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the distribution of blood pressure, blood sugar and blood lipid at different ages(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in blood pressure, blood sugar and blood lipid among the investigated elderly under different exercise conditions and different constitution types(P>0.05).2.Chi-square test results showed that there were statistical differences in overweight rate, obesity rate, abnormal rate of WC,and abnormal rate of WHtR among the elderly of different genders(P<0.05).The abnormal rate of obesity in males was higher than that in females. There were statistical differences in the rates of overweight, obesity,WC and WHtR among different ages(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in the overweight rate and obesity rate of the elderly with different exercise conditions(P>0.05),the abnormal rate of WC and WHtR(P<0.05),and the abnormal rate of WC and WHtR in the regular exercise group was lower than that in the non-exercise group. There was no statistical difference in the overweight rate, obesity rate and WHtR abnormal rate among the elderly with different constitution types(P>0.05),and there was statistical difference in the WC abnormal rate(P<0.05).There were statistical differences in the rates of blood pressure, blood glucose and dyslipidemia among the investigated elderly of different genders and ages(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the rates of blood pressure, blood glucose and dyslipidemia among the investigated elderly under different exercise conditions and different constitution types(P>0.05).3.According to the analysis of the survey data, the overweight rate of the elderly is46.7%,the obesity rate is 12.75%,and the central obesity rate is 50.1% and 76% as measured by WC and WHtR.The community more than 65 years old and the elderly hypertension prevalence rate was 42.82%,the prevalence was 25.71%,hyperlipidemia prevalence was10.22%,the chi-square test results suggest that older adults surveyed different BMI groups,WC grouping the prevalence of hypertension, diabetes prevalence, hyperlipidemia prevalence rate was statistically difference(P<0.05),different WHtR grouping the hypertension prevalence rate was statistically difference(P<0.05).4.Pearson correlation analysis was used, and the results showed that BMI was positively correlated with blood pressure, blood sugar and blood lipid(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between WC and blood pressure, blood sugar, triglycerides and LDL(P<0.05),and a negative correlation between WC and total cholesterol and HDL(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between WHtR and blood pressure(P<0.05),but no correlation with blood glucose and blood lipid(P>0.05).Multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that overweight and obesity in BMI and central obesity defined by WC were risk factors for hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia(OR>1,P<0.05),while central obesity defined by WHtR was a risk factor for hypertension(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusion:obesity and chronic diseases are important factors that threaten the health of the elderly. This investigation found that the average distribution of obesity index of the elderly in this community is higher than the normal value, and the obesity status cannot be ignored. The blood pressure, blood glucose and blood lipid of overweight, obese and central obese group were higher than those of normal obese group. The rate of abnormal blood pressure, blood sugar and blood lipid in obese people is higher than that in normal people.BMI,WC and WHtR can be used as daily screening indicators to detect high-risk groups of chronic diseases, and the predictive effect of BMI and WC is stronger than that of WHtR.
