Objective: to mine the prescriptions and drugs published in China knowledge Network,Wanfang Literature Database and VIP Chinese periodical service platform in the past 20 years about the use of the method of replenishing qi and activating blood circulation in the treatment of essential hypertension with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.to find the potential rule of drug use,and to explore the characteristics and academic thoughts of modern doctors in the treatment of essential hypertension by replenishing qi and activating blood circulation.methods: from 1999 to 2019,there were prescription and drug information in the literature on the treatment of qi deficiency syndrome of essential hypertension by replenishing qi and activating blood circulation in the database(CNKI),Wanfang literature database and VIP Chinese periodical service platform of China knowledge Network.Statistical softwares such as "EXCEL table,SPSS Modeler18.0,SPSS Statistics 26" were used to summarize, analyze and mine the information of traditional Chinese medicine in use frequency, drug category, four qi and five flavors, meridian tropism, drug combination, clustering new prescription and so on.Results:In this study,a total of 105 articles in accordance with the inclusion criteria were selected, and 105 prescriptions were obtained, involving 108 drugs, and the total frequency of drugs reached 1086 times. The top 10 high-frequency drugs used were: RadixAstragali(9.12%),Ligusticum chuanxiong(7.37%),Angelica sinensis(6.35%),Salvia miltiorrhiza(6.08%),Radix Paeoniae Rubra(4.70%),Dilong(4.24%),Codonopsis pilosula(4.05%),safflower(3.41%),peach kernel(3.13%),and Achyranthes bidentata(2.85%).Drugs for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, tonifying qi and relieving wind and antispasms were the most frequently used drugs, and the frequency of drugs accounted for 27.9%,21.17% and 9.11%,respectively.The frequency of the four qi was 43.37%,28.55% and 26.43%,respectively;the five flavors of traditional Chinese medicine were mainly sweet, bitter and pungent, and the five flavors accounted for 39.20%,27.04% and 21.42%,respectively.Most of the drugs were liver meridian, spleen meridian and heart meridian, and the proportion of meridian tropism was 27.64%,18.38% and15.09%,respectively.According to the association rules, seven pairs of combinations of two drugs can be found, namely,"Radix Astragali,Dilong","Radix Astragali,Radix angelicae Sinensis","Radix Astragali,Radix Paeoniae Rubra","Radix Astragali,Ligusticum chuanxiong","Radix Astragali,Radix Codonopsis","Radix Astragali,Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae","Radix angelicae Sinensis","Radix Codonopsis,Radix Astragali","Radix Codonopsis,Radix Astragali".Based on the clustering analysis of SPSS system, five new clustering methods can be obtained. Conclusion: warm, cold, flat, sweet, bitter, pungent, liver meridian, spleen meridian and heart meridian are the main taste and meridian in the treatment of qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome of essential hypertension.Drugs for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, tonifying qi and relieving wind and antispasmodic are the most frequently used drugs in the treatment of essential hypertension with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.Radix Astragali,Ligusticum chuanxiong,Angelica sinensis,Salvia miltiorrhiza,Radix Paeoniae Rubra,Dilong,Codonopsis pilosula, safflower, peach kernel and Achyranthes bidentata are the most commonly.Mining association rules,it is found that there is a rich compatibility of tonifying qi medicine and activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis medicine in the treatment of essential hypertension with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.Five new clustering prescriptions can be obtained by cluster analysis, which can be used as the basic prescription for the treatment of qideficiency and blood stasis syndrome of essential hypertension or in the syndrome of liver depression and qi stagnation, hyperactivity of liver yang, heart pulse stasis and so on.
