As one of the five senses of human beings,hearing plays a vital role in people’s daily life and growth.The discovery of otoacoustic emission proves the existence of the active mechanism of the human ear,and its existence can be used as one of the means to assess whether the peripheral auditory system is healthy.Therefore,otoacoustic emission as an objective standard for hearing detection is widely used in newborn hearing screening.After the Ministry of Health of China issued the "Administrative Measures for Newborn Disease Screening",hearing screening has become a required item,but currently domestic hospitals have a large number of gaps in domestic hearing screening equipment.Therefore,this article designed a portable otoacoustic emission detection instrument with excellent cost performance.This article first learns and summarizes the existing mature biomedical signal processing methods,focusing on in-depth study and research on the collection and processing of auditory evoked response signals;and through the realization of the existing transient evoked otoacoustic emission(TEOAE)signal detection method,and then further understand some characteristics of the TEOAE signal itself;then according to the characteristics of the TEOAE signal "frequency dispersion",by designing a set of different time window the comparison experiment further shows that shortening the duration of the time window to a certain extent can improve the signal-to-noise ratio and other indicators of the response signal;and then the TEOAE detection algorithm based on wavelet transform is improved,and the test of real human ear data verifies that the detection algorithm can further improve the signal-to-noise ratio index of the response signal;finally,the otoacoustic emission detection system based on the STM32 microprocessor is designed and implemented,The system can display real-time detection signal waveform,detection probe tightness,provide signal-to-noise ratio and correlation rate and other quantitative indicators.This article also made a systematic test of the otoacoustic emission detection system.In the laboratory environment,through the actual measurement of some human ear samples,it shows that the detection system can basically meet the needs of daily hearing detection.
