Objective To investigate the relationship between tumor abnormal protein(TAP)and chemotherapy in patients with non-small-cell Lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods The levels of TAP in peripheral venous blood of 83 patients with non-small-cell Lung carcinoma before and after chemotherapy were measured by lectin affinity assay.According to the CT reexamination after chemotherapy, the patients were divided into complete remission(CR),partial remission(PR),stable disease(SD)and progressive disease(PD).CR+PR was classified as the remission group(22 cases),SD as the stable group(53 cases),PD as the progressive group(8 cases),CR+PR+SD as the effective chemotherapy group(75 cases),and PD as the ineffective chemotherapy group(8 cases). In addition, there were 44 cases of lung adenocarcinoma,39 cases of lung squamous cell carcinoma,20 cases of stage I-II,17 cases of stage III,and 46 cases of stage IV.The differences between them were compared, and the correlation, pathological classification and staging, clinical efficacy were statistically analyzed. Results There was a significant difference in the levels of TAP in peripheral venous blood before and after the 4th cycle of chemotherapy(P <0.05);the levels of TAP in peripheral venous blood in remission group and stable group decreased significantly after chemotherapy(P<0.05),and the levels of TAP in peripheral venous blood inprogressive group increased significantly after chemotherapy(P<0.05),The changes of TAP in patients with different chemotherapy efficacy before and after chemotherapy were different(P<0.05);there was a correlation between the effect of chemotherapy and the difference of TAP before and after chemotherapy(r=-0.557,P<0.05);there was no difference in TAP levels in peripheral venous blood of patients with different pathological types of lung cancer before and after chemotherapy(P>0.05),but the later the pathological stage, the higher the TAP level(F=8.049,P<0.05);the AUC of TAP to assess the efficacy of chemotherapy was0.628,the AUC of TAP combined with other tumor markets to evaluate the efficacy of chemotherapy was 0.741.Conclusion The levels of TAP in the peripheral venous blood of non-small cell lung cancer can be used as one of the indexes for evaluating the curative effect of chemotherapy, and can be used to guide follow-up treatment.
