With the coming of the first year of welfare and the era of social welfare in China,medical social work has ushered in a rare opportunity for development,and the exploration and research of medical social work in various regions have been increasing.In view of this,this paper mainly discusses the experience of medical social work development,provides reference for professional development and the introduction of social work in various regions and medical institutions,and causes more thinking about the development of medical social work.From the perspective of organizational boundaries,medical social work is seen as a collaboration across organizational boundaries between hospitals and social work institutions.Using this perspective to analyze the strict organizational boundary barriers between hospital and social work institutions and the boundary performance of medical social work under cooperative interaction can clearly explain the boundary between hospitals and social work institutions,and directly reflect the development of medical social work in hospitals.This paper takes Guangdong S Hospital as an example,from the perspective of organizational boundaries,discuss the development and change of two kinds of boundary,including the strict cooperation boundary between hospital and F social work organization and the boundary of medical social work,among which the strict cooperation boundary is divided into three types: physical boundary,psychological boundary and professional boundary,combs the various stages of cooperation between hospitals and F social work institutions and the development of medical social work after entering the hospital is as follows:In the preparatory stage of cooperation,the hospital,as the buyer of the service,is in the leading position in the cooperative relationship,which establishes the boundaries of cooperation between the hospital and the social work organization,which form the boundary of the medical social work;After the medical social work enters the hospital,facing the strict boundary barrier of cooperation between the hospital and the social work organization,the medical social work takes the voluntary service work as the entry point to cross the organization boundary practice,and penetrates the strict physical boundary,psychological boundary and professional boundary through the practice of excavating the border crossing,balancing the business process,improving the recognition and recognition degree of medical social work;In the case of obvious results in the development of medical social work,the hospital incorporated it into the hospital department and set up the social work department.From then on,the boundary of medical social work has been adjusted,while the boundary of cooperation between medical social work and F social work institutions has developed towards ambiguity.Finally,we reflect on the significance of organizational boundary to the development of medical social work,and put forward corresponding suggestions from the perspective of hospital and medical social work,aiming at the two problems of limited specialization process and insufficient follow-up power in the exploration process of crossing organizational boundary.
