Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Benign Prostatic Hyperplastia By Electro-acupuncture Of Bladder Meridian

Objective:The purpose of this study was to observe clinical effect of electro acupuncture at the bladder meridian group on Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia(BPH)provides an effective and simple method and more ideas for acupuncture treatment of BPHMethods:Sixty patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia were divided into two groups using random number table method,30 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with electro-acupuncture of bladder merdian,once a day,30 minutes each time and 6 days of treatment and one day off.rest for 6 days;Suo Luoxin sustained-release capsule treatment,0.2mg daily,orally after dinner,both groups of patients were treated continuously for 28 days.Before and after treatment,the international prostate symptom score(IPSS),quality of life score(QOL),maximum urinary flow rate(Qmax),prostate volume(PV)and TCM symptom score were used as observation indicators,and the clinical efficacy of the two groups before and after treatment was observedResults:(1)After treatment,IPS S,QOL,TCM syndrome score and maximum urine flow rate of the two groups of patients were improved compared to before treatment,.After comparison,the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05),indicating that the electoacupuncture of the bladder meridian was compared with the control group.Compared with this,it can significantly improve the urination discomfort of prostate hyperplasia and improve the quality of life patients(2)The prostate volume of the observation group decreased after treatment compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and the prostate volume of the control group was not significantly reduced compared with before treatment(P>0.05),suggesting that electro acupuncture at the bladder meridian has an avantage over the oral western medicine group in reducing the prostate volume obvious.Conclusion: Electroacupuncture at the blader meridian group is superior to the Western med icine group in improving the prostate symptom score,quality of life score,increasing the maximum urinary flow rate and reducing the size of the enlarged prostate in benign pros ta te hyperplasia.It is better than the western medicine group in imroving patien ts’s ymptoms of traditional Chinese medicine.
