Objective:The purpose of this study was to retrospectively analyze and sort out clinical data, compare and analyze the clinical application effect of modified operation and traditional operation in the treatment of primary superficial varicose veins of the lower extremities, and explore the advantages of modified operation in the treatment of primary superficial varicose veins of the lower extremities. Methods:Retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 128 patients with primary superficial varicose veins of the lower extremity who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from September 2017 to June 2019.61 patients who underwent modified operation were set as the modified group, and 67 patients who underwent traditional operation were set as the traditional group.Statistical comparison and analysis were performed on the data of the two groups for operation time, intraoperative blood loss, number of incisions, hospitalization expenses, postoperative hospitalization time, recurrence rate, and saphenous nerve injury rate. Results:The number of incisions in the modified group was(3.7±1.10),less than(12.64±2.28)in the traditional group;the intraoperative blood loss was(11.25±2.68)ml,less than(21.40±4.58)ml in the traditional group;the postoperative hospitalization time was(5.74±1.36)d,shorter than(8.89±1.76)d in the traditional group;the hospitalization expenses was(10424.90±2226.96)yuan,lower than(13853.11±3359.00)yuan in the traditional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The operation time in the modified group(81.80±7.90)min was longer than that in the traditional group(62.86±9.96)min,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The recurrence rate was 5.90% in the modified group and 8.50% in the traditional group, with no significant difference(P>0.05);the rate of saphenous nerve injury was 5.40% in the modified group and 12.70% in the traditional group, with significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:In this study, the modified operation in the treatment of primary superficial varicose veins of the lower extremities has less trauma to the body, less intraoperative bleeding, better minimally invasive effect, while greatly shortening the postoperative hospitalization time, reducing hospitalization expenses;moreover, the modified operation does not lead to an increase in the recurrence rate of varicose veins in the near future after surgery compared with the traditional operation, and is a combined operation worthy of popularization.
