| Objectives 1 To explore the level of resilience and its influencing factors in elderly patients with chronic diseases,in order to provide theoretical support for improving the level of resilience in elderly patients with chronic diseases, and to attract the attention of medical staff in the population with low level of resilience.2 To understand the status of loneliness of elderly patients with chronic diseases, and to explore the relationship between the level of resilience and loneliness of elderly patients with chronic diseases,so as to provide basis for improving the quality of life of elderly patients with chronic diseases. Methods From October 2018 to September 2019,339 elderly patients with chronic diseases from the Department of Geriatrics,North China University of Science and Technology Affiliated Hospital were conveniently selected as the research objects,(CDRISC)was used to measure the level of resilience in elderly patients with chronic diseases, the loneliness level of elderly patients with chronic diseases was evaluated by(UCLA),the general information, family function, social support,self-efficacy and hospital satisfaction of the elderly patients with chronic diseases were evaluated by self-designed questionnaire, family function scale(PAGAR),social support rating scale(SSRS),chronic disease selfefficacy scale(SECD6)and patient satisfaction scale.T-test,variance analysis and linear regression analysis were used to analyze the influencing factors of the level of resilience in elderly patients with chronic diseases;Pearson correlation and hierarchical linear regression analysis were used to analyze the relationship between the level of resilience and loneliness in elderly patients with chronic diseases. Results 1 The results showed that the total score and the scores of each dimension(tenacity,self-improvement and optimism)are(58.86±14.558),(30.97±8.238),(19.28±4.962),(8.61±2.652).2 The results of the analysis of the factors influencing the resilience of the elderly patients with chronic diseases showed that:(1)The results of t-test and ANOVA showed that: female, low education level, low monthly income, disease type of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, more diseases, short course of disease, childless, serious family dysfunction, low level of self-efficacy,low level of social support, and low patient satisfaction of the elderly patients with chronic diseases compared with male, high education level, high monthly income, disease type of noncardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, number of diseases less quantity, longer course, children, better family function, higher self-efficacy level, higher social support level and higher patient satisfaction, the scores of the elderly patients with chronic diseases are lower, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the scores of resilience among age, medical payment, and living style(P>0.05).(2)In the multiple linear regression analysis of the elderly patients with chronic diseases, gender, education level, monthly income, number of diseases, disease course, family function, selfefficacy, social support, patient satisfaction were related to the level of the resilience of the elderly patients with chronic diseases(P<0.05).3 The effect of resilience on loneliness in elderly patients with chronic diseases:(1)Loneliness status: loneliness score of the elderly patients with chronic diseases was(38.73±9.495).(2)Analysis of the relationship between the resilience and loneliness of the elderly patients with chronic diseases: the total score of the resilience and loneliness of the elderly patients with chronic diseases were significantly negatively correlated(P<0.05).(3)Multiple factor stratified regression analysis of resilience on loneliness in the elderly patients with chronic diseases: in the first layer, the general information, family function,self-efficacy and social support, disease related factors of the elderly patients with chronic diseases were included into the independent variables, which can explain the variation of 50.1% of the loneliness of the elderly patients with chronic diseases,in the second level, all dimensions of resilience are included in independent variables, and the explanatory power of the total score of loneliness of the elderly patients with chronic diseases was 58.2%.Each dimension of resilience can explain 8.1% of the total variation of loneliness in the elderly patients with chronic diseases. Conclusions 1 The resilience of the elderly patients with chronic diseases is at a low level.Monthly income, patient satisfaction,self-efficacy,number of diseases, family function, disease course, social support, gender, education level, are the influencing factors of the resilience of the elderly patients with chronic diseases.2 The loneliness of the elderly patients with chronic diseases is in the middle level, the resilience is the influencing factor of loneliness of the elderly patients with chronic diseases. The lower the level of resilience, the more serious the degree of loneliness.Figure 0;Table 15;Reference 144... |
