Objective: To evaluate the clinical utility of early placement of implant in maxillary anterior area in 5 cases,and discuss the points of clinical application of early implant placement combined with related literature.Methods: From March 2019 to January 2020,a total of 5 patients with early placement of implant in anterior area were selected in Zhejiang provincial stomatology hospital.A month after tooth extraction,the early placement of implant surgery and bone increment surgery were performed at the same time.After a healing period of 6 months,the second-stage operation was performed.The implant supporting provisional crown was applied to shape the soft tissue around the implant.According to the aesthetic rating scale,the aesthetics of implant prosthesis in anterior area was evaluated.Results: In five cases,the average white aesthetic score(WES)was 9.2,the average pink aesthetic score(PES)was 8,the average score of mesial gingival papilla was 2.33,and the average score of distal gingival papilla was 1.83.Conclusion: Early placement of implant in anterior area can achieve good aesthetic effect in our short term follow-up.Objective: To study the effect of low dose intermittent addition of parathyroid hormone 1-34(PTH1-34)on inducing the osteogenic differentiation of human periodontal ligament stem cellsMethods: The PDLSCs were divided into three groups: Group A,given DMEM medium only;Group B,given DMEM medium containing osteogenic induction fluid;Group C,given medium containing osteogenic induction fluid,and PTH1-34(10-8M)added intermittently,for 48 h as a cycle,the first 6h added and the second 42 h didn’t.The osteogenic differentiation of the three groups of cells was detected after a certain culture period.After 7 cycles of osteogenic induction,cells were collected,and the proteins were extracted.Then the expressions of Runx2,Osteocalcin and Osterix were detected through western blot.The ALP activity of supernatant samples was measured.After 10 cycles,alizarin red staining was performed.Results: The expression of osteogenic-related gene proteins(Runx2,Osteocalcin,Osterix)were higher in group C than in other groups,and higher in group B than in group A.The activity of alkaline phosphatase in group C was higher than other groups.Alizarin red staining in group C showed that the calcium nodules were larger than other group.Conclusion: Low dose intermittent PTH(1-34)can effectively promote osteogenic differentiation of human periodontal ligament stem cells.
