Objective: To investigate the relationship between serum CA125 and platinum resistance recurrence and prognosis in patients with ovarian cancer, and to evaluate the predictive value of serum CA125 for platinum resistance recurrence. Methods: From January 2014 to March 2019,84 cases of ovarian cancer admitted to the Department of gynecology and obstetrics of the first hospital of Lanzhou University were selected and included in the tumor cell reduction operation. After the operation,84 cases were treated with platinum based standard chemotherapy and followed up for more than 6 months.Patients were divided into platinum sensitive recurrence group and platinum resistant recurrence group according to recurrence time more than or equal to 6 months and less than 6 months. The correlation between preoperative serum CA125 level, serum CA125 half-life and postoperative serum CA125 turning negative time and platinum resistant recurrence in ovarian cancer patients was analyzed, and the predictive value of prognosis was analyzed by logistic regression The relevance of the study. Results: The mean value of serum CA125 before operation was 1815.700 ±1529.522u/ml and 1096.788 ± 927.466u/ml in the platinum resistant group and the platinum sensitive group, respectively, with significant difference between the two groups(p<0.05);the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05)between the group with serum CA125 half-life ≤ 20 days and the group with serum CA125half-life>20 days There was significant difference in survival time and progression free survival time(p < 0.05);there was significant difference in recurrence of platinum resistance between the group with serum CA125 turning negative time≤8weeks and the group with serum CA125 turning negative time>8 weeks(p<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that the half-life of serum CA125 was anindependent risk factor for platinum resistance in patients with ovarian cancer(p<0.05,OR>1).Conclusions: 1.The level of serum CA125 before operation, the half-life of serum CA125 and the time of turning negative of serum CA125 after operation are valuable indexes to predict the recurrence and prognosis of platinum resistant ovarian cancer.2.The half-life of serum CA125 is an independent risk factor for predicting platinum resistant recurrence of ovarian cancer.
