| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of massage therapy on chronic tonsillitis in children with lung and stomach heat syndrome,and compare the changes of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets before and after treatment,so as to provide new ideas for clinical treatment.Method:60 cases of chronic tonsillitis with lung and stomach heat syndrome were randomly divided into treating group and control group.In the treating group,children were treated with pediatric massage on every Monday,Wednesday and Friday.That is,three times a week,four weeks in a row as a course of treatment.The control group was treated with Xiaoeryanbian granules,it was taken according to the children,s age.It was taken daily in the first week,and every Monday and Friday in the second,third and fourth week.That is,4 weeks in a row as a course of treatment.Both groups were treated for one course.The changes of the main symptoms and signs were scored before and after treatment.Also,the changes of T lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood before and after treatment were observed.Result:1 Comprehensive effect:the total effective rate of the treating group was 76.92%,and that of the control group was 52.38%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).It is suggested that the comprehensive effect of the treating group is better than that of the control group.2 Main symptoms and signs:after treatment,the main symptoms and signs of the treating group were significantly different(P<0.01);the main symptoms of the control group were significantly different(P<0.05);the main signs were significantly different(P<0.01).After treatment,there was significant difference between the two groups in the scores of main symptoms(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in the scores of main signs(P>0.05).The total effective rate of main symptoms was 88.46%in the treating group and 52.38%in the control group,with significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).The total effective rate of main physical signs in the treating group was 38.46%and that in the control group was 38.10%.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).It is suggested that the treating group can significantly improve the main symptoms and signs,and the improvement effect of the main symptoms is significantly better than the control group.3 Single symptom:after treatment,there was a significant difference in the sense of foreign body and pharyngeal obstruction in the treating group(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the single symptom in the control group(P>0.05).After treatment,there were significant differences between the two groups in pharyngeal pain,foreign body sensation and pharyngeal obstruction(P<0.01),cough(P<0.05).It is suggested that the effect of the treating group on pharyngeal pain,pharyngeal foreign body sensation,pharyngeal obstruction and cough is better than that of the control group.4 Single sign:after treatment,there was no significant difference of single physical signs in the treating group(P>0.05).Compared with before treatment,there were significant differences in tonsil hyperemia and posterior pharyngeal wall follicles in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).It is suggested that the treating group has no obvious advantage over the treatment group in improving single physical sign.5 Peripheral blood T lymphocyte subpopulation:after treatment,there were significant differences in CD3~+,CD8~+,CD4~+/CD8~+(P<0.05)in the treating group.There was no significant difference in CD4~+(P>0.05)in the treating group.The difference of CD4~+in the control group was significant(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in CD3~+,CD8~+,CD4~+/CD8~+(P>0.05).It is suggested that the regulation of T lymphocyte subsets in the treating group is better than that in the control group.Conclusion:1 Children’s Tuina can obviously improve the main symptoms and signs of children with chronic tonsillitis,the comprehensive effect is significant,and the main symptoms and comprehensive effect is better than the control group.2 Children’s Tuina can obviously improve the sensation of pharyngeal foreign body and pharyngeal obstruction,and the improvement of pharyngeal pain,pharyngeal foreign body,pharyngeal obstruction and cough is better than the control group.3 Children’s Tuina can regulate the distribution of CD3~+,CD4~+and the ratio of CD4~+/CD8~+in children’s peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets. |
