Objective:To investigate the effect of bilateral cervical superficial plexus nerve block on postoperative nausea and vomiting in thyroid patients under general anesthesia. Methods : Firstly,100 patients with elective thyroid surgery were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and then the 100 patients were divided into two groups on average(grouping using random number table method).Group A was the bilateral superficial cervical plexus nerve block group.Group B received only general anesthesia alone. The incidence of nausea and vomiting three days after the operation was listed as the key observation object, and the changes of invasive arterial blood pressure at important time points were recorded(during anesthesia induction, skin incision,30 min after the operation, and at the end of the operation).Visual analog score(VAS)was used to record the pain score within three days after the operation. Results:The incidence of nausea and vomiting within three days after surgery was 8.00%(4/50)in the experimental group A and 26.00%(13/50)in the general anesthesia group B.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Compared with the postoperative VAS scores, the average VAS scores of patients in group A on the three days after surgery were lower than those in group B,and there was A statistical difference between the groups on the first and second days after surgery(P < 0.05).According to the comparison results of intraoperative blood pressure fluctuations,DBP(diastolic blood pressure)at the time of anesthesia induction, skin resection and 30 min after the operation,SBP(systolic blood pressure)at the time of 30 min after the operation,SBP and DBP at the time of ventricular exit in group A were all lower than those in group B,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion : Combined application of bilateral superficial cervical plexus nerve block in thyroid patients with general anesthesia can maintain relatively stable hemodynamics during operation, reduce postoperative pain, significantly reduce the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting, and effectively improve postoperative comfort.
