Objective:To investigate the relationship between symptoms associated with anxiety, depression and sleep disorders in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).Methods:A total of 126 patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)admitted to Fujian Provincial hospital from March 2018 to December 2018 were selected as subjects, and 121 healthy volunteers who were admitted to our hospital for medical examination at the same time were selected.Inclusion in the control group.Questionnaires were used to investigate the two groups of subjects: gastroesophageal reflux disease questionnaire(GerdQ)and the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS).The relationship between the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 20.0 statistical software.Measurement data with normal distribution were used for comparison. The t-test was used for comparison between groups. The number of counts and percentages were used for comparison.Chi-square test and Fisher's exact test were used for comparison between groups.Pearson correlation test was used for correlation analysis of continuous variables. The homogeneity test of variance is ? =0.05.P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:Overall,62.7%(79/126)of patients with GERD received clinically significant GERD symptoms. The anxiety patients in the GERD group accounted for 35.7%(45/126),which was higher than the healthy control group(3.3%)(4/121),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),and the GERD group had a SAS score of 46.15 ±8.72 points.Compared with the healthy control group,36.22±6.36,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);the GERD group depression accounted for 25.4%(32/126),higher than the healthy control group 0%(0/121),the difference Statistically significant(P<0.01),and the SDS score in the GERD group was44.44±11.31,which was higher than 34.79±5.71 in the healthy control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The sleep disorder patients in the GERD group accounted for 42.1.%(53/126),which was higher than 2.5%(3/121)of the healthy control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),and the PSQI score of the GERD group was 7.24±2.39,which was higher than that of the healthy control group of 4.80.± 1.64,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The SAS,SDS,and PSQI scores of the GERD group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.01),and the SAS,SDS,PSQI scores and GerdQ scores of GERD patients were positively correlated(P<0.01).Conclusions:There are different degrees of anxiety, depression and sleep disorders in patients with GERD,which are positively correlated with the severity of GERD disease. Therefore, the effects of mental and sleep factors should be considered in the treatment.
