| With the rapid development of virtual reality technology,virtual reality is rapidly infiltrating into many areas of human life,providing new ways of interaction for people’s lives,and has great application value.Medical image visualization technology can reconstruct a series of twodimensional images into a three-dimensional model and present it to the doctor in a three-dimensional form.It allows doctors to observe and analyze the patient’s tissues and organs from multiple angles and levels,providing patients with more accurate treatment and greatly improving the accuracy of diagnosis.In addition to medical diagnosis,medical image visualization technology is also used in preoperative planning,medical teaching,surgical navigation and other fields,which greatly promotes the development of medicine.Although the medical image visualization technology can show the image to the doctor in a three-dimensional form,the doctor can only view it through a twodimensional screen.In this form,the doctor sees only a two-dimensional image with a stereoscopic effect,so the interactive display effect is not good enough.Therefore,based on the HTC VIVE virtual reality hardware device,this article develops an immersive medical visualization system.The virtual reality technology is used to display the reconstructed three-dimensional model to the doctor,and a more stereoscopic and more realistic three-dimensional model can be observed in the virtual reality device.At the same time,the virtual reality device combined with the Leap Motion gesture recognition device can control the view through gestures.The contributions of this article include the following:1.We have implemented a three-dimensional visualization system with functions such as data import,data segmentation,data display,virtual reality,and gesture control.2.The multi-plane reconstruction function of the image is realized,and the coronal,sagittal and cross-sectional views of the image can be displayed in the visualization system.3.The image can be segmented,and the results of the segmentation are displayed through three-dimensional reconstruction.4.The three-dimensional model reconstructed by the visualization system can be displayed in the HTC VIVE virtual reality device synchronously,and can be zoomed,panned,and rotated.5.Several simple gestures are defined,which can be used to control virtual scenes. |
