| Objectives:The feature of chronic mountain sickness(CMS)patients’ blood is "sticky, thick, and concentrated",which can lead to varying degrees of hypoxic damage to multiple organs throughout the body, and brain tissue is the most vulnerable. Therefore,in this study,we used 3D-ASL and IVIM imaging to evaluate the local cerebral perfusion of CMS,and to explore the value of cerebral hemodynamics of CMS.Methods:18 clinically diagnosed CMS patients(CMS group)and 20 plateau healthy volunteers(control group)were collected. All cases were scanned on the Siemens Prisma 3.0T MR scanner with 64-channel head coil.Scanning sequences contained:conventional head sequence(T1WI,T2 WI horizontal axis position,T2-Flair,DWI),3D-ASL and IVIM.Post-processing to obtain CBF,f,D*,and D maps.Post-processing to obtain CBF,f,D*,and D maps.ROIs were fixed and symmetrical.Bilateral frontal, parietal, temporal, occipital, basal ganglia, thalamus, hippocampus, and cerebellum were selected, and the average value was obtained by multiple measurements to obtain the perfusion parameters of the corresponding brain regions. Two independent samples t test was used to compare the perfusion parameter values of the same brain region between the two groups.Pearson test was used to analyze the correlation between 3D-ASL and IVIM parameters.Results:1.The CBF values of the CMS group were lower than those of the control group in bilateral parietal lobe, occipital lobe, thalamus and cerebellum, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.The attenuation curve of brain parenchyma of all participants conforms to the double-exponential model. The f values of right thalamus and left cerebellum in CMS group were higher than those in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in D* and D values in all brain regions between the two groups(P>0.05).3.There is no obvious correlation between the CBF value of 3D-ASL parameter and the parameters f value of IVIM.Conclusions:1.Compared with normal control group, the local cerebral hemodynamics of CMS patients has changed, showing a relatively low perfusion state.2.3D-ASL and IVIM imaging can non-invasively and quantitatively assess the local cerebral perfusion of CMS,perfusion of CMS,which has certain value in the study of cerebral hemodynamics of CMS,but there was no significant correlation between 3D-ASL and IVIM parameters. |
