Objective:To evaluate the the effect of sedation of intranasal dexmedetomidine combination with inhalation sevoflurane for magnetic resonance image?MRI?in pediatric patients. Methods:From January 2019 to June 2019,358 patients aged 1 to 3years were examined by MRI in Children's Hospital affiliated to Chongqing Medical University.According to the sedation scheme, they were divided into two groups:intranasal dexmedetomidine 2ug/kg combination with inhalation sevoflurane?DS group?for 179children.Intranasal dexmedetomidine 2?g/kg combination with oral chloral hydrate 30mg/kg?DC group?for 179 children.Record the success rate of sedation,Induction time?IT?,Total scan time?ST?,Recovery time?RT?,Time to baseline?TTB?.Record the heart rate and the oxygen saturation of immediate administratio?T0?,the beginning of the inspection?T1?,5min into the inspection?T2?,the end of the inspection?T3?and when they wake up?T4?.To observe the occurrence of adverse reactions such as bradycardia, hyoxemia, nausea, vomiting and restlessness after administration. Results:There was no significant difference in the age, weight, gender composition and vital signs during sedation between the two groups?P<0.05?.The success rate of sedation in DS group was 97.21%,significantly higher than 90.50%in DC group?P<0.05?.The number of repeated scanning sequences,IT,RT,ST,TTB and the incidence of adverse events in DC group were significantly increased than that in DS group?P<0.05?.The compliance and degree of satisfaction in DS group were significantly increased than DC group?P<0.05?.Conclusion:Intranasal dexmedetomidine combination with inhalation sevoflurane is a effective sedative scheme for MRI in children with high sedation success rate, short sedative time, recovery time and can improve efficiency of clinical work.
