Clinical Observation Of Yuping Anti-allergy Decoction Combined With Loratadine In The Treatment Of Chronic Urticaria(CU) With Pattern Of Unconsolidation Of Denfensive Exterior

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Yuping Anti-allergy Decoction combined with loratadine in the treatment of chronic urticaria with pattern of unconsolidation of denfensive exterior.Methods:108 cases of Chronic Urticaria were randomly divided into three groups:the Chinese and Western medicine group(treatment group),the traditional Chinese medicine group(TCM group)and the Western medicine group(WM group).And each with 36 cases.The treatment group was treated with Yuping Anti-allergy Decoction combined with loratadine tablets,the TCM group was treated with Yuping Anti-allergy Decoction,and the WM group was treated with loratadine tablets.Each group was observed for 8 weeks.Before and after therapy,the clinical efficacy was evaluated according to the scores of the urticaria activity scale(USA)and dermatological quality of life index(DLQI).And the safety was recorded.After Eight weeks’ treatment,cured patients were followed up to observe the recurrence rate.Results:(1)Comparing three groups’ total symptom scores:the total score of symptoms at different time points(F=262.969.71,P<0.001)and in different groups(F=14.471,P<0.001)had statistical significance.There was interaction between time and groups(F=2.212,P=0.028<0.05).At each time point after treatment,the treatment group’s scores were significantly lower than the TCM group and the WM group.While the lowest score is in the treatment group after 8 weeks’ treatment.(2)Comparing the number of wheals in three groups:at different time points(F=105.968,P<0.001),there were significant differences among different groups(F=6.539,P=0.002<0.05),and there was interaction between time and groups(F=2.924,P=0.004<0.05).At each time point after treatment,the number of wheals in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the TCM group and the WM group.While the lowest score is in the treatment group after 8 weeks’ treatment.Comparing itching scores in three groups:The results showed that there were significant differences in itching scores at different time(F=149.108,P<0.001)and in different groups(F=8.116,P<0.001).There was interaction between time points and groups(F=3.046,P<0.001).At each time points,the scores of the treatment group were significantly lower than the TCM group and the WM group.While the lowest score is in the treatment group after 6 and 8 weeks’ treatment.(3)Comparing three groups’ curative effect:The effective rate at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks after treatment and the cure rate at 8 weeks after treatment showed statistically significant differences among the three groups(p<0.05),with the highest rate in the treatment group and the lowest in the TCM group.Except for the 8th weekend of treatment(p=0.002<0.05),the difference in cure rate at other time points was not statistically significant(p>0.05).(4)Comparison of patients’ quality of life indexes among the three groups:after therapy,DLQI of the three groups was lower than pretherapy,and the difference before and after treatment was statistically significant(p<0.005).DLQI of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the TCM group and the WM group(p<0.001).(5)Recurrence rate:the recurrence rate of the treatment group was 11.43%;the recurrence rate of the TCM group was 12.5%;the recurrence rate of the WM group was 33.33%.There was significant difference in recurrence rate among the three groups(χ2=10.800,P=0.005<0.05).Both of the treatment group and the TCM group have lower recurrence rate than that of the WM group.(6)Safety analysis:before and after therapy,the adverse reactions of three groups were mild,and no significant abnormalities were found in the safety indicators.Conclusion:Yuping Anti-allergy Decoction combined with loratadine group has a better curative effect on chronic urticaria with pattern of unconsolidation of denfensive exterior,and has low recurrence rate.As it has better safety.(1)Compared with TCM group and The WM group,the treatment group can better improve the symptoms of chronic urticaria patients.(2)The wheal number and itch in the treatment group was more significantly reduced than those in TCM group and The WM group.(3)At each time point after treatment,the effective rate in the treatment group were better than the Chinese medicine group and The WM group.the same as the cure rate after 8 weeks’treatment.(4)The treatment group can significantly reduce DLQI of patients with chronic urticaria.(5)All three groups have low incidence of adverse reactions,which ensures high safety.(6)The treatment group can significantly reduce the recurrence of chronic urticaria patients,whose effect is better than The WM group and TCM group.
