Recently,Chinese teaching in Bangladesh has been developed by leaps and bounds as the diplomatic relationship gets closer between China and Bangladesh,which draws much more attention of domestic scholars.The research on Chinese teaching in Bangladesh has sprung up in the fields such as phonetics,grammars,teaching skills and other aspects,among which is the research of phonetics including the research of initials,finals and tones.The quantity of phonetics analysis by the method of using phonetic analysis software is relatively few as it is not easy to manage the large amount of recordings at a time.Chinese is a tonal language.Tone practicing has always been one important step in Chinese teaching as tones play important roles in distinguishing meanings in Chinese language.Tt is not easy for students who come from a non-tone language background to understand the differences between each tone.Bengali is a non-tone language,the practicing of the tones also faces lots of difficulties.Students,understanding of Chinese tones at the initial stage of learning Mandarin is playing a very important role in their subsequent learning process.Therefore,it is necessary to give full play to the advantages of voice analysis software to study the students’ tone learning in Bangladesh.If they formed the correct perception of Chinese tones,it will have a profound effect on further Chinese learning.In order to achieve this goal,we need to study the Chinese tonal learning of the primary Chinese learners in Bangladesh,which is why this thesis is presented.This thesis is intended to scientifically analyze the tone features of the primary Chinese learners in Bangladesh by using the voice analysis software,explore the law of tone learning from the aspects of input and output,and find a better method in tone instructing for students in Bangladesh.
