| The English version of the Governance of China Ⅱ was published in October 2017,shows the development and current state of Chinese politics and policies and provides new materials for translation study.Taking this opportunity,the author analyzes the translation of words and sentences in the book,and figures out what impacts it leaves on the future translation of political texts.This thesis takes the perspective of Skopos theory,analyzing the text from lexical,syntactical and discourse levels and focusing on the use of "Three Rules" of the theory.Based on theoretical and case analysis,the author studied the text and summarized some strategies.This thesis,based on the text of the Governance of China Ⅱ and the Skopos theory,studies on the latest cases in the book,looking forward to explore the rules of translating political texts.Through this analysis,the author demonstrates the practical use and the feasibility of translating practices guiding by the theory and renews its application in modern diplomatic translation. |
