With the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,there are many achievements in the teaching of Chinese characters.This paper is inspired by the research of Professor Song Lianyi of Asian-African Institute at London University on Chinese teaching "recognition,not writing".Considering the present situation of Chinese teaching in Confucius Institute of Bulacan,Philippines and the demands of students,this paper analyzes the feasibility of Chinese character teaching in Bulacan Institute of Philippines.The full text takes the teachers and students of the Confucius Institute at Bulacan State University in the Philippines as the research object,and conducts investigations and reviews the related materials,analyzes the development of Chinese teaching at Bulacan State University and Confucius Institute,Confucius Institute at Confucius Temple and the status quo of teaching Chinese characters.The experiment of Chinese teaching "re-recognition,not writing" was conducted in the Confucius Institute at Bulacan,and the experimental class was adopted in the interest class,that is,two Chinese teaching methods were used at different levels to compare the teaching effects of the control group;Professional class through the investigation,conducted a survey of Chinese teaching,and the results of a statistical analysis.In order to get further experimental results,we conducted a questionnaire survey on the related problems of Confucius Institute students in learning Chinese.Finally,we analyzed the teaching of Chinese characters "reread and not write" from the objective and actual needs Practical feasibility.The topic discussed in this paper does not mean that learning Chinese characters is unimportant.The author only aims at the learning needs and objective realistic needs of different learners in Bulacan,trying to find the most reasonable and effective Chinese learning strategy with his own teaching practice,Foreign language teachers can provide theoretical and practical basis and reference,as well as methodological inspiration.
