Based on instructional design theory and my ten months of teaching experience and in view of the characteristics of Chinese zero based students in Bulacan State University Confucius Institute, this thesis conducts the research to the zero based comprehensive Chinese classroom teaching design by using the literature analysis, survey questionnaire analysis and practice analysis method.It mainly discusses from three aspects. Firstly, this thesis analyzes the general characteristics and learning styles of Chinese zero based students. And combined with the existing teaching theory, summed up the Chinese for zero-based classroom teaching strategies. Secondly, it analyzes specific teaching strategies that apply to the teaching based on the teaching theory of design and survey. And the teacher’s teaching situation and students’ learning situation after one term study. Finally it shows the whole process of teaching design through a way of example a specific text. In addition, it evaluated and summarized feedback of students and teachers on classroom design.Through the process of Chinese zero based classroom teaching design, I think that teachers should improve the students’ Chinese level combined with the characteristics of the Chinese students in the zero based and then use a variety of teaching methods. In the concrete teaching, the teacher should choose the appropriate teaching method according to the concrete teaching content and the teaching principle, for example the expansion method in the article is suitable for the teaching method of zero based class. Excellent classroom teaching design is the first step of teaching success, but also an indispensable part of classroom teaching. According to this, it concludes the Chinese teaching strategies and methods for zero based students of Confucius Institute at Bulacan State University, hoping to contribute and inspire to the zero based Chinese teaching in this Confucius Institute.
