Singing And Poetry:The Study Of Liu Dabai’s New Poetry

The origin of the word "poetry" explains the close connection between "singing" and "poetry".Singing is the source of poetry and the tradition of the development of ancient Chinese poetry.Singing not only depends on the external factors such as the syllable,rhythm and form of the poem,but also relates to the inner feelings of poetry.After the creation of the new poem "May 4th",the new poets ignored the singing of poetry in the bold attempt and exploration of free verse,and the pursuit of singing and the creation of ballads in the creation of Liu Dabai’s new poetry showed its unique significance.This article tries to enter Liu Dabai’s theory and practice of new poetry from the perspective of "singing",explore the realization of his new poetry,summarize the significance of his new poetry.The main body of the thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter carries on the combing of singing traditions and theoretical resources.It transitions from the singing tradition of Chinese poetry to the singing theory of the "May 4th" period and leads to Liu Dabai’s reflection on singing.The second chapter mainly analyzes the singing of liu Dabai’s new poems from the aspects of content and emotion,which are the singing with the natural fit,the singing of the reality and the singing of passionate love.The third chapter discusses the realization of Liu Dabai’s new poetry.It is divided into four sections,which are explained from four aspects: dialect spoken language,poetic style and resignation technique,emphasis on musicality,and reference to the ballad.The fourth chapter summarizes the significance and influence of Liu Dabai’s new poetry.First,it is clear that the new poetry of Liu Dabai’s sings the meaning of "may 4th " new poetry.Second,it discusses several new poetry swearing movements from the perspective of singing.Finally,I reflect on the lack of singing in contemporary poetry.
