The Calligraphy Research Of The Letter From Duxiu Chen To Jingnong Tai

Duxiu Chen had a lot of practice and experience in the field of calligraphy art in his lifetime,the form of calligraphy is largely comprised of letters,for example,his letters to Huiseng Bao are more than 100 ones,which were ever framed to be books;the letters to Pengsheng Yang are more than 40 ones,which are preserved in National Archives now;the 102 handwritten letters treasured by Jingnong Tai are especially preserved well,complete,and the number is largest.It is more valuable that Chen ever put forward many precious theories related to calligraphy art when he got along with the calligraphers and painters.People paid more attention to him for his well-known political status,so he was little known in the calligraphy achievements.Based on this,the paper regards the letters from Duxiu Chen to Jingnong Tai as the main research objects,clearly depicts their acquaintanceship,friendship,and maks the classification in detail according to the different periods and different styles of his works,then emphatically teases out the characteristics of his calligraphy work,and considers the calligraphy theories put forward by Chen when he got along with the calligraphers and painters,this paper will state Chen’s ideas of calligraphy art from new point.
