Because of the beauty of magnificent and vigorous,Tang frontier fortress poetry can be called the art treasure in the history of Chinese poetry.And with the promotion of the belt and road initiative policy,the economic and cultural exchanges between China and central Asia are increasingly close,more and more central Asian students come to China to learn Chinese.The teaching of Tang frontier poems for central Asian students can not only improve their Chinese language level,but also help them to understand an inclusive,prosperous culture on the ancient Silk Road.However,it is widely considered that teaching Chinese as a foreign language tends to emphasize language teaching.Most researchers ignore the importance of poetry teaching in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and relevant research is rather scarce.So the issue of how to generalize poetry teaching effectively in teaching Chinese as a foreign language has aroused researchers’ attention at home and abroad.According to the learning characteristics of central Asian students and the current situation of teaching Chinese as a foreign language poetry,the thesis is based on the constructivism theory,and takes the cultural elements in Tang frontier fortress poetry as the teaching medium,puts forward the corresponding teaching content and teaching methods.The thesis mainly consists of five chapters:Chapter one talks about introduction.This chapter introduces the purpose,significance and research methods of the topic,expounds the relevant research literature,and puts forward some personal opinions.And the cultural elements of Tang frontier fortress poetry are defined.Chapter two mainly declares that the choice of cultural elements in Tang frontier fortress poems.First of all,the thesis classifies the poems of Tang frontier fortress,investigates the teaching objects,teachers and teaching materials,and analyzes the results.Then it puts forward the selection criteria of cultural elements,including typicality,pertinence and interest.Chapter three describes that the application of cultural elements of Tang frontier fortress poetry in teaching Chinese poetry as a foreign language.According to the previous studies,this chapter puts forward the relevant teaching content,including art,geography,diet,natural scenery and other aspects,and proposes the corresponding teaching methods,involving physical demonstration,multimedia application,scene analysis,comparative explanation,classroom discussion,extracurricular experience,and classical appreciation.Chapter four based on theoretical research and field survey,presents that the teaching design and extracurricular activities planning in accordance with the characteristics of central Asian students,and provides some suggestions for teachers.Chapter five brings a conclusion of the whole thesis,and presents the limitations of the current study.
