| The Phoenix bird pattern has become an important totem of the Chinese nation due to its diverse forms,vivid and expressive modelling,strong decorative and rich cultural characteristics.In the whole history of Chinese art in the development of the history of many birds are found.In all kinds of ancient books and ancient Legends,Chinese birds are regarded as the "king of the bird world" with its auspicious allegory,"the long of the hundred birds" as recorded in "history records," as "Phoenix comes to Xiang,the world is clear and virtuous",Phoenix and the Chinese "dragon" totem,in history has a mysterious color,is the symbol of the peace.During the Sui and Tang Dynasties in the whole course of Chinese history,there was an irreplaceable position.During the Sui and Tang Dynasties,the feudal society of China was prosperous,strong in power,stable in politics,and the "Silk Road" of as many countries as possible brought with it foreign customs and culture,making the Chinese culture in the Sui and Tang Dynasties extremely complicated.During this period,the Buddhist culture is very prosperous,the Phoenix bird decoration is very popular,which makes the study of the Dunhuang frescoes in this period the Phoenix bird tattoo in the visual communication design more valuable.This paper summarizes,classifies,distill and reconstructs the pattern of Phoenix birds in Dunhuang frescoes during the Sui and Tang Dynasties,so that it can be more applied in visual communication design.In this paper,15 patterns of Phoenix birds in Dunhuang frescoes in the Sui and tang dynasties were extracted and classified into five periods:the Sui dynasty,the early tang dynasty,the high tang dynasty,the middle tang dynasty and the late tang dynasty.In this paper,the author makes an analogy between the head,neck,neck and tail of the Phoenix in five periods,and makes a modern way to refine and evolve them.The paper contains 6 figures,21 tables and 5 references. |
