Mr.Bao Yuankai is a famous composer and educator in China.His writing style is very extensive,including vocal music,chamber music,symphony and so on.All of Mr.Bao Yuankai's creation are adhering to the "ancient and foreign countries"principle,to China national style melodies and Western harmony techniques,composition techniques combined to the creation of music works and Western Chinese acceptable.His creation,on the one hand,improved the musical aesthetics of the Chinese people,and on the other hand publicized the Chinese music culture to the world.Mr.Bao Yuankai began his writing career from 1977.In 1978,the reform and opening up to foreign pop music,modern music flowed into our country,the traditional composing techniques is challenged seriously,most composers in China began to transition.At that time,those who insisted on using traditional techniques to create composers were considered outdated,so that fewer composers,Mr.Bao Yuankai is one of the few people.But today,he and a group of composers practice,very forward-looking,because not only meets the aesthetic needs of people,but also in line with the current Chinese literary policy,literary creation should for the masses,the full expression of national and cultural confidence and so on.In all of Bao Yuankai's works,vocal music occupies a large proportion.According to the different stages of his creation,solo,chorus,oratorio and other representative vocal works as the research object,summarizes his China as a music composer,"adhere to the tonality,based on the traditional",both "nationality" and"sense" of the "new" harmony techniques.The first chapter of this paper discusses Mr.Bao Yuankai's aesthetic concept and harmonious thinking".The second chapter of the thesis,the author discusses the pitch structure features of the pluralistic melody in Mr.Bao Yuankai's vocal music works".This paper expounds the two aspects of "natural mode melody" and "comprehensive mode melody".The third chapter discusses the harmonic material Chinese and Western Mr.Bao Yuankai in vocal music".This paper expounds the three aspects of"the recognition and adoption of Western tradition","the further expansion of tonality,the choice of chord materials" and "the nationalization transformation of traditional chord structure ".The fourth chapter discusses Mr.Bao Yuankai in vocal music"making tonality harmony organization means".From the "Bao" aesthetic concept,harmony 'function'and 'color',"on the traditional tonality and harmony means of individual breakthrough" two aspects are expounded.
