| Liaohe River is the largest river in the south of the Northeast Area of China,which is also the mother river of citizens who live in Liaoning Province.It plays an important role on the economic and cultural development for surrounding areas.However,under the macro environment of globalization,we notice that Liaohe River lacks proper attention on the world stage,and this situation does not match its important position in Liaoning Province as well as the northern area.Therefore,This thesis selects the CCTV documentary Liaohe River as the primitive language material to carry out the Chinese-English consecutive interpreting practice.It aims to promote the popularity of the documentary and furtherly enhance the international influence of Liaoning Province.Improving the publicity of Liaoning Province is not only conducive to attracting foreign investments,but also plays an important role in revitalizing Liaoning Province and booming the tourism as well as cultural industry.Under the guidance of Skopostheorie,the thesis records and further analyzes some translation difficulties when encountering run-on sentences in primitive language after doing the Chinese-English consecutive interpreting practice for documentary Liaohe River.Moreover,it classifies these difficulties into three types,which include loose structures,information redundancy and repetition,and the differences in expression when translating Liaohe River into English.Then,the thesis will strive to find suitable solutions and proper translating strategies after the effective discussion and analysis to make sure that the practice will be proceed effectively and methodically.In addition,this thesis will also offer a strong guide to such kind of practice of related subjects as a valuable reference. |
