On The Influence Of Modern And Contemporary Dance On The Development Of Folk Dance

As the carrier of people’s emotional expression and cultural heritage,dance has always occupied an important position in the development of human civilization.Both modern and contemporary dance and folk dance are developed in the process of human labor and social progress.National folk dance mainly comes from people’s production practice and labor creation,derives from folk,more reflects a nation’s way of life and life characteristics,and is greatly influenced by geographical environment.It has a strong cultural color,and plays an important role in promoting the inheritance and continuation of national culture.In essence,modern and contemporary dance advocates more freedom,which advocates the release of people’s inner feelings and reveals their own characteristics.With the deepening of China’s reform and opening up,cultural exchanges and integration are increasing.Modern and contemporary dance has more and more influence on the development of folk dance.These influences are good and bad.But on the whole,the development of modern and contemporary dance can promote the multi-level and all-round development of national folk dance,and make it more in line with the needs of the times.Through the methods of case study,literature analysis and image research,this paper first defines the dance attributes of folk dance and modern dance,and then analyzes the influence of contemporary dance on the development of folk dance from several aspects.To understand the role of modern and contemporary dance in the development of national folk dance,and the changes compared with the past,and to further consider the causes of the fusion of modern and contemporary dance and folk dance;Then it analyzes the impact of modern and contemporary dance on folk dance,and finally thinks about how to better deal with the influence of modern and contemporary dance,so that it can develop better while retaining its own characteristics.
