A Study On The Semantic Evolution Of Chinese Kicking Monosyllabic Foot Verbs From The Perspective Of Corpus

According to the interpretation of the word "kicking"(??)in the modern Chinese Dictionary(Seventh Edition),this article defines the foot verb of the single syllable as:the typical rational meaning of the word contains[+ kicking](??)or[+treading](??)semantic features,and the head of the word is a kind of monosyllabic verb "foot".According to this,we have identified 21 monosyllabic verbs,which are ti(?)?chuai(?)?cu(?)?jue(?)?cun(?)?di(?)?bao(?)?ta(?)?tai(?)?ta(?)?cai(?)?deng(?)?rou(?)?nie(?>?lie(?)?cha(?)?dao(?)?jian(?)?ta(?)?duo(?)?ci(?).In this paper,the study of "kicking"(??)monosyllabic foot verbs,using semantics and lexicology,analyzed the influence factors of the verb meaning evolution from the four angles of the collocation,the change of semantic elements,the semantic analogy and the cognitive style,Generally speaking,the meaning development path of the "kicking"(??)monosyllabic verb can be summed up as follows;1.from one foot action extended to another foot action;2.by the foot action extended as the other body part action or whole body action;3.from the foot action domain mapping to other conceptual domains;4.from the verb extended to other part of the part of the word.This article is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction.This paper expounds the source and object of the study,and points out the research methods and significance of this study.The second part is the text.This paper first collate the interpretation of "ti"(?)and "chuai"(?)and "cai”(?)and "ta"(?),find out the misinterpretation or misinterpretation of the dictionaries,and then collate the collocation of their arguments through corpus,and give the most scientific and rigorous interpretation.Finally,the semantic development path of these verbs is combed from the diachronic angle.In addition to the analysis of the above four verbs,the semantic features and the meaning development path of the foot verbs,such as"cu"(?),"jue"(?),”cun"(?),and "deng"(?),"dao"(?)and"rou"(?)are also analyzed and analyzed.In addition,this part also analyzes the factors that affect the semantic evolution of "kicking"(??)monosyllabic verbs.From the perspective of the influence of argument collocation,the influence of analogical form and the factors of cognitive style,the reasons for the evolution of the meaning of"kicking"(??)monosyllabic verbs are analyzed.The third part is the conclusion.This paper sums up the factors affecting the development of the word meaning of the foot verb of the "kicking"(??)monosyllabic verb,and summarizes the factors affecting the development of the word meaning the "kicking”(??)monosyllabic verb,the change of semantic elements,the semantic analogy and the cognitive style,and also points out the shortcomings of the thesis.
