| With the introduction of "the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan of Educational Informatization"by the Ministry of Education and the promotion of the concept and technology of informatization,interactive electronic teaching equipment has been widely used.,which has made the teaching environment greatly changed.Interactive electronic whiteboard provides a platform for human-computer interaction,which not only can greatly promote the communication between teachers and students and practice the advanced educational concept,but also changes the traditional teaching methods with the support of modern educational technology.It plays an important role in cultivating the information technology literacy of teachers in-service.The aim of this study is to integrate the interactive whiteboard into the integration of primary school English reading curriculum through the design of teaching strategies,so as to enable the first-line English teachers to use the interactive multimedia whiteboard as a new type of multimedia device.At the same time,with the help of interactive electronic whiteboard,the atmosphere in class can be active and teaching methods can be enriched.It can not only cultivate and enhance students’ enthusiasm for participating in class and their sense of teamwork,but also clarify their learning purpose and stimulate their interest in learning.In the pre-test stage of the study,there was no significant difference in English reading ability between the two classes.On this basis of this the students in the experimental class are taught English reading based on interactive electronic whiteboard,and the students in the control class are taught with traditional teaching tools,such as blackboard and slide,etc.,The results showed that the students in the experimental class were significantly higher in English reading performance than those in the control class.Therefore,this study proves that the teaching of English reading based on the interactive whiteboard is helpful to improve the reading ability of primary school students. |
